@@c4test Well, this is even more than a proof of what I expressed, this is simply unique: beautiful men are most likely eligible to be beautiful 'if they were women', but not everyone of them really fits the role... he does, and this is news to me, thank you for bringing these news to me. ;-)

this man was exceptionally beautiful, simon lebon said he was the best looking man he had seen, equisite was the word. mostly id say he always looked fantastic despite the drugs etc..oh and to the lady who says pity he was underated! well he wasnt/isnt hes world known for his talent.. even a generation later people know of him!

the glasses made him look like a nerd but he wasn't actually a nerd and never got the nerd attitude. it was how john perceived himself, john was and still is a perfectionist that's why he is very hard on himself and the fact that he wear glasses made him shy or think less of himself eventhough in reality he has more value than he thought. he was shy but he's also very determined and has strong personality. his square chin shows a person with strong will. people who close to john say if john up to something he will give 120% and won't rest until he achieve his goal. andy taylor describes john as outspoken and confident man who doesn't hold back when meet new people and can make people at ease. roger taylor describes john friendly and like a magician where he could turn his idea into fruition, if john had an idea he would make it happen. simon describes john as an optimistic, passionate and visioner. when simon joined the band at first he was only doing it for hobby as he wanted to become an actor not a singer and he thought that the band would only play in small club but john said to simon, "no we're gonna play in arena" and he really took the band to arena and global success. stephen duffy describe john a very ambitious person. robert palmer said john was their ideas man when they were doing power station john was the one who created the cover, the music most of it was john's idea

@nicodurancomes Unfortunately, you probably saw him during the time when he has said himself, that he wasn't eating;just really doing a lot of drugs, and drinking alot. If you watch some of the videos from 1988-1989 on here, he is really painfully thin. I'm glad he's recovered and healthy, and lived to be turning the big 50 next month! Love the man.:)
