baptism does not wash your sin. Jesus’s sacrifice does, and believing in Him. Baptism is just to show commitment to Jesus, to the world. It does represent being buried, raised, and living, but does nothing for your sin. That is dealt with through Jesus alone.
True but the joke is about a person's perception. Like a person doing the worst sins possible and going to confession on a regular basis and thinking that absolves them in the afterlife.
Thats not all tho, after confessing, the priest can give you a punishment, and if you did smth illegal you are limited by mankind’s rules as well “Give to Ceaser what belongs to Ceaser, and to God what belongs to God”
For the curious. You get baptized once! Into a new life and identity which is why sin is no longer present. When you get baptized you are a new creation and you get to know god and become his word. You start train yourself to see the way he sees you. Pure, holy and innocent. You protect what you now understand by communication and thanksgiving to god. Basically you stop to identify yourself with sin. If you live in sin, you are free from righteousness, but if you live in righteousness (Gods way of seeing you) You are free from sin! I gladly answer questions to the best of my ability xD I hope this makes sence to you guys :) (another fun little thing. When you are born the water breaks right? thats how the mother knows you are on your way xD So we baptize with water as a sign of you have been born again! baptism is more important than people think :). As for God flooding the world in genesis, it was a baptism for the world! A new world has come and the old will no longer be rememberd. God NEVER killed anyone for being ”too sinful”.) He loves .3. That’s why he is good. Always.
I beg to differ, if anything it's unusually calming to the point of almost distressing. Also, his whole bit of (extremely) occasion glances at the camera are unnerving to the point of almost not wanting to watch his videos 😓
i love how john to the first person was like "same time next week?" implying that the first person commits so many sins that he has to be forgiven every week
@@mcblazehunter6888 yeah if you are Roman Catholic sure, ps they aren’t Christian, but beside that Baptism is symbolic and doesn’t even need to happen to be saved.
Expressions, acting, innocence, dialogue delivery. Perfect tight bound screenplay, dialogue and topics. I can watch his series only for rest of my life. They are genuinely funny and hilarious.
Same here. One short recommended yesterday (one with the virus and sperm in the mouth 🤣😂) so I decided to binge on all his shorts. A gold mine of funny 😁
Makes me think about the story of the guy who was declared not guilty for killing some guy, then was literally leaving the courthouse talking to the crowd about how he killed the guy and how it happened, since legally he can’t be tried again or something like that.
Not really, no, Jesus forgives sins, water cannot do that. Baptism is merely to show those around you that he has. Also, Jesus forgives your past, present and future sins, but that doesn’t mean you can still sin. You do still have to change, repent, become a better person.
@@mintish_you clearly don’t get it fam The message is in the joke Once you’re forgiven Jesus doesn’t care about what you have done, you are forgiven completely and born anew
@@mintish_ definitely not but it’s human nature to sin, our good deeds alone cannot take us to heaven, it’s only because of Jesus Christ that we are saved
Please I promptly ask you to Read The Whole Thing Be SAVE FOREVER from burning forever in the lake of fire. This is the Gospel below: 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 King James Version 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how^ that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures Notice the Gospel is what JESUS DID FOR MAN, and not what MAN CAN DO FOR GOD! A person is only saved by BELIEVING in the finished work of Jesus Christ, when he shed his Precious Blood for our sins. Repent (To repent, in relation to salvation, is to change your mind from unbelief to belief in Jesus Christ. To being dead in your sins to a new creature in Christ) and believe in the Gospel
bro the unique thing about adrian's videos production is the way he stares right into the camera but let's be honest it just makes the videos 100x funnier
The way he just awkwardly looks at the camera kills me everytime. As well as his wardrobe would be every costume ever made. And the british accent ties it all together.
Hi, if you are not saved, and would like to be included in the rapture of the church. Believe that Jesus's death on the cross, was enough to pay for ALL your sins , yes ALL ,(past, present and future) That is what the Gospel is about. We are saved by GOD'S amazing grace, through our faith in Jesus's sinless life, death on the cross and resurrection 3 days later. No additional works needed. It is literally that simple. Ephesians 2:8-9 Romans 10:9-10
Back when the catholic church was selling indulgences, this actually happened. Someone bought an indulgence forgiving "future sins" and then later robbed the church. Got caught, showed his indulgence, and the church couldn't say anything against it because that would be admitting the indulgences were a scam.
thats not how indulgences work. They dont forgive sins, they just remove the temporal punishment for sins already forgiven. The issue was that indulgences were being sold, not that there were indulgences.
@@jerubaal101 unfortunately my source is one of my high school history classes from something over a decade ago. If I ever knew any more specific sources I’ve long since forgotten them.
Yes its not how it works its just a joke. So it makes me laugh, but makes me sad too because majority dont actually know how baptisms work and theyre often confused by what they see in the media

It's like an awkward mix between an incredibly fucking polite Russel Brand and the cast of Monty Python, all smashed together in one person. It's amazing really 🤷🏻♀️
