I watched all his fights available on RU-vid. The only weakness of Ramazan is that he is not decisive enough with his finishing punches. He often lets the KO opportunity slip away by switching to wrestling (takedowns) while his opponent is actually wobbled from his punches. That is the only reason he hasn't gotten a contract with the UFC (according Dana). However, I think that's better for him right now. At least he could get a title shot as soon as possible, instead of waiting for opponents who would most likely duck him in the UFC
Im picking Ikram. The only thing is how 2 weight cuts back to back can affect him. But other than that this dude has a damn good chance to beat Rob. AS good as Rob is.
Khabib is not his main coach. Aliskerov trains with them regularly, but he’s under another team (not Eagles mma). He called Khabib after he already agreed to the fight.
@@deepeshjohnekka2161 No, he did not. Khabib simply said YOU --- anyone one who wants to take chances and be a UFC champ --- CANNOT pass up chances dropped from the sky, free, like this was. Otherwise (if Ikram didn't take it), he WOULD have to work for 1-2 more years successfully, defeating all fighters in front of him, to get to a Top 5 spot. But, here, he, UNRANKED, was given an OPPORTUNITY to get to the #3 spot in one serious fight BEFORE at least 15 others ahead of him in the ranking. You don't always succeed, especially against true elites like Robert who WAS champ in his late 20s and who still is only 33... not over the hill yet. But, as Ikram said, you've got to take the chance and LEARN from it, negative or positive. Anyway, THIS SHOWED Ikram WILL HAVE TO get completely jacked like Robert and work 24/7 on his striking for the next 1-2 years... You can't be preparing for a 3 round against another unranked guy nowhere even close to your own skills....and then switch to a 5 round fight, the last week, against the Top 3... an actual elite in your division, someone who can wrestle, do BJJ, strike, do elite TDD, etc.
