They didn't show that part with Bowery king and Winston standing in front of John and Helen's tombstones and then the dog's ears perked looking up coz it's like the dog saw or sensed someone familiar.
Remember Cane was blind, that means that his other senses are heightened. He could smell, so I bet he knew she was coming by her perfume or soap she used to bathe in.
The logical next step is taking the great distaste by multiple powerful factions, and going into full out war to overthrow the High Table. You can probably guess who the leaders of the rebellion will be. 2-5 years after John retires, he'll be dragged back in by request or another push to end the war.
He's alive, and there will be a chapter 5. There's a scene in the movie where they talk about what they want on their tomb stone. John just had his tombstone picked out!
They left the end deliberately ambiguous so they can have their break and when the notion hits, they can have the conversation of the next John Wick movie. None of the three shots he took were life threatening unless an artery was hit, in fact the left chest/shoulder and left lower abdomen he shot someone else with in JW3, the Doctor, to protect him from consequences from helping him. Now me personally i think part of Mr. Wick did die, it was the monster, the peaceful man survived. Now would I like to see a JW5? If they do it right, they left it open for him to survive. I hope if they do do it again, please stick to what works, Don't The Last Jedi it. Personally JW4 is the perfect bookend for the series, but like I said, I would be open to a revisit at some point
Even if there was no sequel he’s alive. Marquee even said that the legend needs to die the baba yaga has to die and that’s what happened. The boogeyman does now John wick can live his life in peace
I remember hearing the director say there was plans for a 5th movie. But decided to merge it into the 4th and make is one bad ass movie compared to two good movies. I see some rumors that the d***h could be staged but I hoped not. To bring him back and then do it again? This was the perfect ending in my opinion.
He's alive, Wick and Cain shot each other in similar non-lethal places. Just watch John Wick 3 at the doctor after fighting Edgar. At beginning of excommunicado, Wick shoots doctor below collarbone and another non-lethal place near belly.
I'm still not entirely convinced that John Wick is dead being John has been in some serious fights in the earlier movies & mostly because of what John had said to Caine to Caine wing John 1 and though we seen John lay down on the steps after the duel, all that was shown was the seen over the water along with the tombstone of John Wick. If I'm wrong I will own it, but I felt the ending was unresolved because of what I had seen, Time will tell.
I'd like to think he is not dead,, just in retirement. Looking back, what if his wife also faked her death. Maybe she was an assassin also and decided to "retire" then the dog being killed was the catalyst for him going after those responsible. This was a guise for him and his wife to one day take over the continental? Maybe I'm stretching with that idea and well, the ending opens up so much more.
I still want them to do one more Wick Movie but i want it to be the biggest job wick has ever done. Or what he had to do to get out. Really surprised they didn't do that before this movie that ended everything. Or will we get a small tv series off this
The girl will pick off the members of the table and they will all think it is John Wick Five, that Baba Yaga is in the shadows taking it down systematically. And what's in it for "the manager?" Well, he finally gets to be the legit leader of the table itself once the girl is through pretending to be John Wick with Kane's and Morpheus' help. LOL.
I don't think wick is really dead because they talked about John wick 5 being the final one so I think he'll come back as old man wick like they said .....
Although the series could easily be left with this movie, it could actually even more easily be turned into a fifth movie. It's simple, John Wick just killed a member of the High Table. In the 2nd movie we saw how powerful a mark was, a simple contract that you had to obey. In the 3rd movie, we saw how powerful a person working for the High Table was, and they nearly destroyed the Continental right there. And in the 4th we saw how powerful one single member of the High Table was and he nearly burnt the world to the ground trying to kill John Wick. Each time John Wick overcomes an insurmountable odd at the end of one of the movies, he becomes adapted to taking on that type of threat throughout the next movie. John Wick just killed a member of the High Table. We just saw as well that members of the High Table are no better than criminals. They lie, manipulate, mutilate, destroy, and break the rules as much as they want, but they're untouchable so they can get away with it. The members of the High Table wont care that John did everything by the rules. The fact that a member was killed is unacceptable. John will never be safe anymore and it was foolish to think so. So Winston did the proper thing and made it look like John Wick was dead. If they make a 5th movie, a timeskip could easily be implemented. John no longer has the option for freedom. The literal rulers of the world hate him and there is no hidden corner of the earth John can go to be left alone. The only way left is forward. If they make a 5th movie, John's going to have to kill every single member of the High Table and bring the criminal underworld to ruin just to be left alone. After seeing how far one single member of the High Table pushed him I have no doubt that would be his final movie
Just look at all the people Wick and Caine killed with ease in the movie, the fact that neither of them died from the first shot in the duel tells me neither of them made killing shots. They all knew that Marquis had an ego that surpassed his power, they knew he would step in to be the one to "kill" the infamous Wick. John Wick the loving husband may have died that day but the Baba Yaga lives on.
I think if there is a chapter 5 then the only possibility is John wick fakes his death and then fall in love with Nobody and live happily after that. There is no bullets or fights, just some hardcore stuffs (instead of counting bullets we can count something else).
Because it won't be John Wick as we know him and Keanu Reeves probably couldn't pull it off. However, as a spinoff Animated series somewhere in between Chainsaw Man and Cyberpunk, I would firmly approve
Movie was good, but a bit misleading. After he killed the elder and then Cane, and Mr. Nobody and John Wick being close friends. It looked like they were going to hook up and take out the high table!! That’s what it seemed like it was going to be, but it unfortunately wasn’t.
@@moviestein1833 my point is that it was disappointing. I believe had they gone that route the movie could of taken the turn to where they are now the high table and can change the game, but again unfortunately it ended the way it did.
john wick is not invincible and too slow his enemies is just dumb and idiot there are many chances they can kill john wick, the raid 1 and raid 2 fighting scenes is much better than this hollywood fight scenes😂😂😂
I think he's still alive and that he'll return to save those who helped him, once new management returns and seeks revenge on them. Mr. Nobody, John Wick and the Japanese lady whose name I don't know how to spell, will have to team up more than likely to get everyone free from the high table.
I just can't see it..The Main Character died which the movie Is called John Wick. I know he said he won't do it without Chad but they will think if a great story on their hiatus. No way he's dead. I love all the other actors but if Keanu is not in the 5th one. Sorry I won't watch. That role was so built for him!!!
James bond died ,John wick died ,can you see a pattern , still Keanu will be to old for part five if it is not made within two years, And as an actor he may well be happy with the film's ending, also the production crew now have many spin offs make,
Well, there is good and bad news for the latest John Wick chapter. First, bad news comes out.. Director Chad Stahelski will no longer going to continue the release of its original plan of having JW5 next year (2024). The original plan is to first release Chapter 4 this year, then the "all road leads" to its finale Chapter. The latest film in which seems though that the character has finally been laid to rest beside his wife with the engrave "Loving Husband" after witnessing the sunrise at the end after killing the representative authority Marquis Vincent de Gramont of the powerful High Table. Now, here's your good news.. Winston Scott, Manager, the Continental Hotel and the Bowery King (both JW's few trusted friends) fabricated his death so he may no longer be on the watch of the High Table and be able to live the way he should suppose to after his marriage thus leaving his old ways as a hitman. Meaning, the iconic character still lives though unbeknownst to most. John Wick: Last words, Winston? Winston Scott: "Just have fun out there."

I didn’t see the movie yet..! I don’t know why you didn’t think that you were going to do some damage by giving away the ending? How could you tell everyone that. John Wick dies in this 4th movie. I’m movie. Chapter 4..! Then you’re speculating on a Chapter 5: You said that they could finish telling the rest of the the storyline of some of the the characters that were left in ‘Limbo’.! What I really didn’t like that you or anybody would ever consider, filming a sequel without “John Wick” in the movie are you out of your mind ..! If John Wick ever really dies in the movie that’s it:) “ THE END” of the franchise..! John wick is what makes the movie; He is the essence of all the “John wick” movie’s without him You have nothing..! No matter how many different unfinished storylines characters you have in the movie. If you want to kill the franchise: Then just kill “John wick” ..! Then you can say: ( IT IS FINISHED )!
