What more can John Wick do lol? Where else can it go? I think that the fourth installment was an appropriate ending. John Wick 4 to me is definitely a love letter to the fans of the franchise. It definitely went out on a high note. But who knows?
You don't go to a john wick movie expecting an amazing plot... you go to see him kill... for the same reason you don't watch the predator for an amazing plot... There is so much he can do, as long as the plot follows taking out the entire high table. He can kill on a moving plane both inside and outside the plane. He hasn't difused a bomb or fought in a nuclear silo. Or killed a country's political system cuz the president was a member of the high table... I can go on for days... cuz the plot should be an after thought and the stunts should be the main focus

I'd rather not get another John Wick movie, the guy needs some peace and it only comes in the shape of death (either real or fake), think about it. He's tired, he lost his only family and no longer has beef with anyone, he doesn't want any more crap going in his way. What we could possibly get is a spin off with the hotel manager's daughter and Caine and maybe, just maybe, a short cameo just to scratch that itch to know if he's alive or not.....but nothing more. Don't touch what's perfect.
I honestly expect John wick 5 to either be a prequel to first movie with him completing the impossible task or a aftermath that John wick had on the criminal world

John wick clearly became an idea , i mean let the character die , he already prove for everybody that the high table it s not unbeatble, he was really luck a bunch of times , but he had the right friends for that , so we can have spin offs , and it s okay

After literally years of marvel, disney, netflix, amazon and other crap which tries to teach us how to live, someone produced a film which just wants to entertain us. That's the result.
What if Winston and King were just making it look like Wick is dead because they were being watched and had to convinced Wick that was the best…to disappear for a while. Or Maybe Akira didn’t actually killed Caine. She forced him to help her heal John and hide him and not even Winston nor King are aware of. There are so many ways to bring him back. It reminds me what happened at the end of that season when Jon Snow (GOT) died. Millions of fans were upset and yet, they brought him back to life.
i thought the 5th movie could do something about his past? Like how he got out by doing the Impossible Task. Maybe whoever he had to kill still had an surviving member, someone who could rival John maybe? And now he's prepared to get revenge on John for killing his family. John Wick taking someone else's wife's life just to be with his only to end up dealing with the consequences of that women's husband would be interesting🙂
I wanna see another installment focused on Akira & Mr. Nobody going at it. I could see a movie fully focused on the post credits and a movie based on Caine & Mr. Nobody, with Mr. Nobody either helping Caine track his daughter or Akira tracking the two of them. Her first attempt at killing Caine is a fleshed out series of fights from the post credits. Akira is prevented however when she notices Caine’s daughter catches them off guard by calling him, OR he somehow detects Akira coming & Mr. Nobody steps in…. They have an exchange of words, a few bombastic sideyes, the movie takes off from there. We learn more of why Caine & Mr. Nobody are around each other, and Akira gets more fleshed out as a character & fearless assassin in her own right. Maybe. Has to narrow the general idea but yeah. Not quite the best, yet I’m DEFINITELY interested in seeing more of those characters. A fully focused Caine move would be awesome. All they have to do is keep aesthetics & world of John Wick CONSISTENT like they did for filming the series OF JW-JW4 and the promo has to be as well. We gotta recognize Caine after all! Make his posters posed of him front facing with his cane tipping his shades as hold his gun in front. MrNobody & Akira posed behind him. Of course add traditional flair and elements related to Caine culture but overall I wanna know why Caine got blinded, then retrained his fighting & gun techniques soooooo 👀

"Keanu Reeves is almost 60." Yeah, I figured that his exhausting run through JW4 might be pushing him to some pretty strenuous physical limits. It's turned Keanu into a machine, sure, but I can see him wanting to play more in the shadows in the sequel. It would allow the space for the other characters to have their own misadventures, possibly with John Wick himself coming out in a big reveal. I didn't buy his death at the end of JW4. We don't know that he died, only that he had been shot during the duel and, after telling Winston to take him home, collapsed to the side. Then cut to his headstone. Faking his death so that he can finally achieve peace makes more sense to me. It also allows for him to more stealthily go after any remaining enemies, or perhaps he'll go for everyone on the High Table itself. If we need a truly epic antagonist for him to have to contend with in the final installment, why not have him try to take down the real power in the underground?

the end of this film was a good ending. John wanted peace, and assuming from all the times he reminisced about the moments with his late wife, he wanted to be with her as well. As well as when the Bowery king asks: How goes the ground farewell tour?" John Replies : coming to an end. it would be nice to let it end like this, and not milk the series, like fast and the furious did, where it became a shitshow. Ballerina will be the prequel, and that could be John wick 5 in a way, but the way it is right now, it's perfectly acceptable and understanding

It would be nice for john wick to end in 4 and start again like with Donnie Yen to finish his arc with his friends daughter revenge and see the aftermath of John Wicks death to the rest of the Assasin Work maybe even introduce new characters that can be within the universe but have independent stories

I've seen JW4 and it's a terrific movie! To be honest, it still left the ending open for a possible fifth film concluding the saga. It'd be great to see a fifth film!! Hope in the end they choose to officially choose to create a fifth installment!!
Look..... if the studios decide to make JW5, there is a likely hood that it would be the last one or Keanu not being in it if they go the Prequel route. They have a better chance making spin off series from the other supporting characters played by Halle Berry, Laurence Fishbourne and even Donnie Yen.

No more enemies for him to kill, if they want to continue the franchise, do a spin off about Caine or High Table itself...how the organization was built and who were the founders. let Keanu do other projects like CONSTANTINE 2 or other movies. Keanu is almost 60 years old, we know he still look younger but doing movie like JW physically really tiring at that age.

Personally, I don't want my last memory of John Wick to be him dying on those steps. I'd like one last film that brings him back to life and lets him live. It'd be a more poignant ending to the series in my opinion.

The franchise is just fine where it is. Unless they want to do an "Old-Man" John Wick style movie where he protects a daughter/ son something that is in over his/ her head... I've seen enough people getting killed. The 4th installment was at times tedious to watch (stairs scene) where he literally keeps fighting the same guys over and over again.
It can only be a prequel....and how far back does one set it? He is getting on in years after all. I say just let it end already. We got that tombstone dialog, and unless they want to be cheap and pull thr "well we didn't SEE his body lowered into the ground" trope it's OVER
They left it open for interpretation (the dog winces in the final scene, looking towards something off-screen). Unless you can see the dead character.... they can always bring him back.

There never was a funeral for Wick. Only a quick shot of his gravestone with the Bowery King & Winston plus Wick's which suddenly looked to the side as something/someone got it's attention which I believe could very well be Wick.
Leave John Wick alone. As the number of movies increases, the probability of destroying the franchise approaches 100%. Cash out while your reputation is in tact and make something else new and awesome.

The chapter 4 was simply terrible. Reason being... there was NO Antagonist. That little guy dressed like a waiter, eating cake, was pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!! I came home from the movie theater, poured myself a drink and watched the original Jaohn Wick. No comparison. So maybe the director should watch No Country for Old Men to learn how to write a suberbly scarry Antagonist.
John Wick four was shitty. This is a movie for people who like to watch guys fall down the stairs 20 times in a day and get hit by a cars ten times and walk away like he’s the terminator. The villain was terrible. The story was super stupid. I don’t understand all the people praising this movie in the theater. I was in I heard five or six people sleeping and snoring.

More importantly 007 has endless stories that tell of world threatening villains for multiple movies. John Wick pretty much ended his world villains in 4 movies. What story would they do with another person playing John Wick? The same exact story? Doesn’t make sense
