I read a lot of the comments, and I honestly think people should start paying attention to the title. It says "Insane Handles and Vision" for a reason. Meaning the video is going to be showcasing what the title tells rather than showing if the kid can jump high or not. Please start reading the title guys, and if you want to see if the kid can score or something else go look through other videos, rather than trying to be sports analyst and talk about what hes doing wrong or what you don't. y'all crazy oml J.McGriff is good forreal . Scouts and stuff don't look at flashiness but, but they do look at what you can do for your position. Like your not expecting to rebound but you still need to boxout , coaches look at the missalaneous stuff, he has handles, vision, and it looks like he can defend well.

Coaches look for players that can do movements with 1 or 2 moves among other intangibles. I'm sure that he has heard this from coaches before. He is going to be an awesome player if he's coachable to make the changes.

At about 0:12, he does it so when he does his next move you won't know if he'll do one move and go past you, like 1:40 or multiple moves and step back and shoot like 1:36 etc, it's basically like a set up move

Some of his moves might be unnecessary. & he might do a little "Too much" at times. But the kid is just having fun. Let him do that. That's the only reason he should be playing ball at the age he's at right now anyways. To have fun.

you guys mabye saying that all the footwork and constant stutter stepping is not needed. but when you play at that age and have really good handles everything is about flash and looking super nice. when he starts getting to college and starts to mature he will obviously not do all that shit.. when your really young ego is a big thing and all your going to really want to do is impress all your friends.... now dont get me wrong handles like this are very useful in a game, especially if you have multiple guys guarding you at once it or to be used as an element of suprise, most people will see you do some shit like that and defeat themselves subconciously plus its pretty difficult to steal the ball from a small guy who can dribble that ball like that. also makes it a lot easier to go by people when your going to the paint especially if your a small guy. when this kid gets older and stays dedicated he will be very good...

Yes...sometimes they are not necessary but they do so much more than what you can see on highlight videos.
