reassembly stephanie, reassemble, I cant once your dead your dead, love his logic to coming to the conclusion dissassemble is a nice way of saying death, murder kill. this is one of my favorite movies oh poor johnny five,
1:44 is just the cleverest thing I’ve ever seen. Without any special effects, pure puppetry…to get a hunk of metal to show such human reactions…when No5 realises what disassemble means…the neck and head go back, the eyes widen and hands pumping….pure brilliance.
the great irony being that Number 5 is actually much closer to immortality than humans and has far less to fear from death since his damaged parts can easily be repaired and replaced and even his memory could be(in theory) transferred into a brand new upgraded body if necessary.

I remember watching this as a little kid at my uncles. I was prob only 3 or 4 but I thought it was hillarious. I'd forgotten about this movie for so long and then random youtube recommendation just popped up. Thoroughly impressed.
I started watching clips of this movie again after hearing the song "Who's Johnny?" on the radio & it immediately reminded me of the movie, that song inspired Number 5 to re-name himself 'Johnny 5' as the movie comes to a close.
Or rather she was going along with his child-like? actually child-real experience. It's his first grasshopper and she knows that. Think about a two year old pointing out a grasshopper and how adults react.
Yes omg. I just let my 10 year old son watch this and I actually saw tears come out his eyes when he thought they killed him. It made me think about myself when i was little. My baby care about a lot of things in life just like me.

Last time I've watched this movie was probably in the early 90s when I was younger than 10. I've only watched it in french so the actual voice for Johnny feels weird. But he looks just as alive as I remember him back then
