I'm 57 yrs old and this is my first time seeing his brilliantly funny act.

I like that you can hear Johnny laughing in the background .

I remember seeing him in the early 80's and him cracking me up with his bizarrely creative antics. He's still at it it now!

Never saw this before but truly unique and entertaining imho. Tx for reprising.

Saw Mr. Davis perform essentially this routine live around this same time at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. It's just as amusing now as it was then. And I mean that in the best way. Also appearing with him that night were Larry Bud Melman and James Taylor's brother, Livingston. Big time entertainment for Muncie!

The first video I saw him in was the one entertaining Reagan and that skit was even funnier than this one. I love his act, he never disappoints.

1:36 the first time i watched this very skit on carson, i was around 10 or 11. i didn’t quite understand the joke then. i did 3 years later.

After you see 2 acts it's like you've seen them all. Makes it repetitive and looks memorised and rehearsed.

And back then, this was considered entertainment.

Johnny mentions college gigs on the guy's schedule. Sad that the woke snowflakes in college these days don't get to have comedians come on campus because of all their triggering BS. Their loss.
