I remember seeing him in the early 80's and him cracking me up with his bizarrely creative antics. He's still at it it now!

Yip, same here -- on "Comedy Tonight" on KQED (PBS San Francisco). Same set, too. I didn't remember him until he said "Juggling a bowling ball is no big deal." Then I remembered the next line and most of the rest of it.

Saw Mr. Davis perform essentially this routine live around this same time at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. It's just as amusing now as it was then. And I mean that in the best way. Also appearing with him that night were Larry Bud Melman and James Taylor's brother, Livingston. Big time entertainment for Muncie!

Did you know David Letterman is a Ball State alumnus?
@IDFK303
@IDFK303 7 месяцев назад
Yes. But then any good Hoosier of a certain age should know that. Believe he's also been a benefactor and supporter of BSU for a number of years. Watching this video again also made me realize that Michael Davis' act also contains a touch of Steven Wright's twisted approach.🤪@@OeditpusRex

The algorithm occasionally recommends this guy to me and somehow l keep laughing no matter how many times I've seen him.

It's that funny. I could watch it again right now, in an hour, tomorrow, in a week, a month, a year, and I'd still laugh off all three of my buttocks.

The first video I saw him in was the one entertaining Reagan and that skit was even funnier than this one. I love his act, he never disappoints.

he's so good and quick that if he misses his recoveries are done so you can't be sure the miss was accidental.

Oh the ball behind the head was accidental but he is so entertaining it doesnt matter. He gets it 90% the first try. Most entertaining i have ever seen.

He had a few subtle jokes in there, but my favorite was, “This makes essentially 7 balls … but why bore you with my troubles?”

After you see 2 acts it's like you've seen them all. Makes it repetitive and looks memorised and rehearsed.
@4BoysForUs
@4BoysForUs 11 месяцев назад
He does his juggling and other tricks to perfection, which is neccesarily a repetion of an act. Seamless.

Johnny mentions college gigs on the guy's schedule. Sad that the woke snowflakes in college these days don't get to have comedians come on campus because of all their triggering BS. Their loss.
