Love him or loathe him the bloke is an enigma. I don't want to sound all psychology student but listening to him it sounds like he had a lot of inner turmoil going on. He even mentions smoking pot because he was not happy with his life. A very complex and intriguing person and no I still haven't bought the bloody book!

Not because of the pot..but for the reasons I was smoking it...im right tbere now....all I want to see is a route laying ahead above me...to truly test my spirit and my soul..my body will love it....ex gymnast love climbing...lots of love johnny....such inspiration ☀🌙🙌🙌

Interesting!!! Some people (such as John Dunne) it seems weren't 'allowed' to 'magic their way up routes' only 'you lot' (and you know precisely who I mean). What a hideous scene!

Right at the end: "the making feasible is more interesting than the doing". On the one hand this smacks of "I could of done but only.....", but with experience it becomes "I would or should of done it, but only real world events intervened to reduce my potential". A cynic might say these are the same, but our minds, experience and potential are limited by more than the now. What our bodies can do is mediated and controlled by what our minds expect.
