The fact that Johnny was one of the very few celebrities who could take Rickys jokes at the Golden Globes and he came on here and did this show in good spirits says a lot about his character. He doesn't take himself too seriously. Sad to see what's happened.
When Johnny kicks the object, and then looks at them. Then he goes over and gently turns over the fruit in the bowl. Absolutely hilarious. Clearly, these guys are having fun. Great actors.
The fruit bowl was improvised, he shouldve kicked the garbage can, not pointing at it and walk with his hands up like what he did here after the fruit bowl.
i suspect these guys are all such pros they might've laughed a bit during the run-through, but then, zoom right into character and did it in one, maybe two takes.
@Heysel Blood circumcision is cutting off the overhead skin at the end of your penis. in the joke ricky isnt circumcised because there is no end to that prick. I hope I explained it well.
@#JohnnyDeppIsRacist wow, how much do you get paid to respond to comments. My comment and this video are so obscure you must be spending a lot of time on this. Did you know if I click your profile it gives me access to all the comments you have made? Protect yourself, use burners, Depp has a lot of money and friends too. Personally I think they are both abusive alcoholics but I still love his acting 😘
I’m surprised amber hasn’t tried to show this in court as proof of his anger 😂😂 Edit: yeah we know it’s a scripted comedy sketch - for all those who feel the need to point it out, you never heard of SARCASM? 🤦🏻♂️
“Nobody makes fun of Tim Allen, on MY watch..” that was such a great delivery from Depp. This quadruple group of men are amazingly talented as well. Ricky, Depp, Warwick, and Stephen.
I think it’s actually better in some ways, and I’m a big fan of The Office. (Although the UK one is too tough to watch more than one or two episodes at a time, it’s genius!). Warwick is genuinely good in this and his character arc, as well as Stephen and RIcky’s self-deprecating parodies of themselves are golden too.
No it doesn't it feels like and episode of Extras. Lol especially because 3 of the stars from extras are in this video and Johnny Depp is a common topic on the show.
You mean his normal acting. I've never seen a Jonny Dept movie where it didn't just seem like Jonny Dept trying to act a character. And believe me it was from no bias, the opposite if anything, as i've always wished it wasn't the case...
@@JoshPhoenix11 he's good playing a weirdo characters, playing semi-normal doesn't work for him, he's actually pretty bad at it imo. he does have a limited range as an actor, which is OK. because within his range he's brilliant and his box office numbers proves that.
@@u235u235u235 Well that's not totally fair: he's played serious roles well in really solid movies Black Mass, Donnie Brasco, Blow, Secret Window, not to mention Gilbert Grape. I'll agree that his "weirdo" roles like Hunter S. Thompson and Jack Sparrow (obviously) are his best work, and he's no, ya know, Daniel Day Lewis or whatever
Sometimes, we take these A Listers for granted. In these little clips, you begin to realize why they made it big in Hollywood. Johnny Is such a versatile talented actor.
This clip is seriously one of my favorite pieces of comedy I've ever seen in my life. The joke about Ricky not being circumcised and the way Johnny delivered it made me laugh harder than any joke I've ever heard.... I fucking love this!
I’m so happy Johnny won his case against Heard. He was honest, passionate, caring, respectful!!! What he’s doing her is why he makes 50 million a year absolutely unbelievable talent extremely well spoken!!!
I don't know him so I dunno about him being a great guy etc but the simple fact that he's got a sense of humor about himselft sure makes him more likeable than the rest of these Hollywood creeps
When he’s such a good actor, he creates a parody of himself- to the point where you question whether it’s actually Johnny Depp or a look-alike. True talent.
I think his whole personality is an act, but an very charming act. He has created a "Johnny Depp" persona -- perhaps to shield himself from pain akin to his childhood trauma.
Life's Too Short was absolute quality. I can't believe it's not more popular. Most folk I talk to haven't even heard of it. They should make more. Innit.
@@eddiebear34 Makes perfect sense. Over-acting should make it harder to forget there is currently acting happening, but it isn't inherently known. To be so good at convincing the audience that you are being genuine even if... okay wait I actually see what you mean now. You are arguing the logistics of the phrase over-acting being used here. I get your point, but what a randomly rude way to point it out to someone.
@@carr363 🤣 who writes half a paragraph then says "oh wait I see what you mean" half way through? When you realise the 1st half is pointless, delete it and write the part that's going to mean something. Nobody types like they are talking face to face. We can't delete verbal words. We can delete written ones. Little lesson for you there ; )
@@eddiebear34 lol Eddie don't bother.. That's the society we now line in. Even when people know they're wrong they still want to let their dribble stand and still want to walk away from all arguments as winners.
Johnny is such an underrated comedic actor, his cameos (like in 21 Jump Street) are always sm fun and you can tell he's putting his all just in service of a movie that he wont get an award for, he won't be as remember as Jonah and Channing when they think out that movie but again, the subtly, the fact the even on a rewatch up until the final scene you're like "wait wtf I forgot Johnny was even in this" speaks levels of him as an actor
It's absolutely brilliant..the awkwardness and feigned discomfort is genius..🤣😄❤.i love the jokes he presents to ricky,i laughed out loud so many times.
I didn’t know either but I don’t watch Netflix or Hulu since they only show two of Johnny Depp’s movie’s they dropped him so that’s it for me, till they put his movies back on they can eat crap 💩 thanks though it was nice of you, to point it out.
@@theresafox2816 lmao 😂 well hey I respect the boycott, i wouldnt be able to take it that far n stop watching those apps. Youre missing out on ssooooo many great shows tho
He was about the only actor in Hollywood who admitted Gervais was a genius after the golden globes. The rest huddled together like 🐑 and attacked Ricky. Which makes this extra funny!
@@salvatorejack6894 I hope Johnny's new movie makes brazillians of dollars ! I just know he'll be mindful and caring enough to hold back 10% for the "BIG GUY" !!! Joe's surprise response will be "Just How Much is a Brazillion" ???
Now that Johnny is cleared would it be absolutely fantastic if they did something together? A series or movie. I can already say I'd watch every minute of it. And than I would watch it all over again. And again.
Just had to come back and give this another watch to celebrate the verdict! Justice for Johnny! Everyone in this piece works so well together to create a wonderful, hilarious piece of art! "These Hollywood stars are so touchy" "Tell me about it" Brilliant!
VEGETARIANS would have CANCELED him had he done anything other than a turn over. In fact some now refuse to call him Jonny and have put forth a petition to Hollywood that he be always credited only as John D. Aggression towards plants and their offerings is not a joking matter.
I'd say average talent. He'll just probably act in occasional commercials and regional plays. Might end up starring in a couple of minor movies at most.
@@enekaitzteixeira7010 Well when you play unconvention type roles which hollywood wouldnt touch with a barge pole , i think hes bloody brilliant. Ooh an action film. Ooh a fantasy oof a marvel film o romance wow great chance to show acting chops🙄 Can turn his hand to anything. Can you sitting browsing?😅
This is pure gold. I like Johnny Depp he doesn’t take himself too seriously isn’t up his own arse. The fact he did this with Ricky Gervais etc he knew what he was letting himself in for ,A great big piss take 😂
This isn't organic though so don't be fooled into thinking that somehow some actors are "more genuine" This shit is all business.. and something that would be drafted heavily before hand. Even the Hollywood performance from RG was a very well developed AND CALCULATED performance. IT WAS... A WAY... For HOLLYWOOD to be honest to the world about itself and still stand high on the moral hill that they believe is rightfully (delusionally) theirs. It was them saying to the world (through Ricky): "Yeah we are practically all pedos but you still bow down to us and pay to see or movies" Elitism at its purist.
@@redsugar723 I watched the body language expert analysis of both of their respective deposition testimonies. Johnny came off very believable and Amber unfortunately seemed like she was lying.
I mean on this clip. The acting was horrible - But yes in movies he is brilliant. This shows that Depp needs a lot of preparation before he truly can show his talent in art
I just cant stop laughing when he kicks the garbage can (I think it’s a garbage can) how can something so simple make me laugh over and over?! Love it!
This was such an underrated show! The episodes featuring Liam Neeson getting AIDS and Val Kilmer wearing his Batman cowl in a restaurant are also PRICELESS!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
When this trial is over and Johnny wins we want a new Johnny Depp movie and were all going to theatres to see it and make sure it breaks box office records!
Only if he uses Amica Cream. He could be in the movie about the Trial called 'A Cut Above'. He plays ALL the characters. The only trouble is he'll make ATurd seem too human.
Look out for an independent movie company (outside of Hollyweird) to get him for a movie! 10 mill + 10% from proceeds should do the trick! I will buy it on VHS if I need to! FCUK Amber Turd
I felt like Ricky was doing all he could not to explode in laughter the entire time I loved it lol I'd love to see a comedy with Depp and Gervais just having a go at each other through the whole thing.
After seeing Johnny open up with such vulnerability, this just makes me laugh so hard! He's having so much fun in this skit and trying not to crack up too.
*Johnny Depp’s cameo in this show is absolutely HILARIOUS. The scene with him trying to learn how to method act as a dwarf by watching Warwick Davis do absurdly irrelevant actions brings me to tears. God Bless all these actors for being able to laugh at themselves and not take everything so seriously.🤣💀👏🏼*
“Any idea who my leading lady is?” “Helena bonham carter by chance?” “How did you know?” “…Stab in the dark” 😂 “No one makes fun of Tim Allen on my watch” And did you not quit twitter “because it only has 140 characters, one less than you” These 2 could be brothers man ❤️😂
Lots of people trashed JD in the comments but the fact that he acted in this sketch proves that he is self aware and he is definitely not for cancel culture
I think it would be relatively easy, because Depp is playing being nasty so effectively that it's almost uncomfortable to watch, and most of the jokes are pretty old. Whereas in the Liam Neeson sketch, Neeson is being so ridiculously unreasonable, and spouting such nonsense that it's hilarious.
The jokes were hilarious Ricky must of helped write them his a bloody genius!!😂😂😂 Good on Johnny for doing this most celebrities would still be pissed at him for making jokes about them at the globes!! Class act from both of them!
Warwick Davis's role in this is so undestated yet absolutely brilliant... It's easy to look at Depp, Gervais and Merchant but the role Warwick plays is brilliantly written by Ricky Gervais and executed perfectly by Davis.
Exactly, actually this is the "worst acting" I've seen him do, because I can't imagine him ever taking himself that seriously, or being that mean in real life! I bet Ricky Gervais wrote the part, and JD didn't mind playing it as-is because IRL he's that laid back.
@@generaldirection5123 either way it's funny 😄. I love his acting. To bad his life has been a mess ever since he met that blonde snake 🐍eyes woman #AmburpHeard. She pooped in his bed and decided to make his life a living hell.
