I’m soooooooooo glad you guys did research before doing this episode 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I literally get so annoyed when I see people (other podcasters) talking about the situation only having read some headlines and knowing none of the actual details 🙄🙄

OJ’s trial was televised everyday for months. I was in my Senior year of HS and when the verdict came down our teachers actually turned the TVs on so we could watch it live. I grew up in So Cal so I thought it was just live in CA but turns out it was on TV across the world.

Johnny is avoiding eye contact bc she’s the abuser. I grew up with her type of manipulation and narcissism and it’s so destructive 😢

I cannot watch Amber testify, I feel physically sick, this makes me so afraid of what the jury will do. I’ve been watching legal bytes and they say the jury has mostly men SO who knows if the men feel comfortable saying a woman is lying about something like this… OR they could side with Johnny and never want to be in his shoes. Amber has made so insane claims so far I have no idea how this will turn out.

The front desk guy was one of the best to testify .. he was honest, gave zero fucks, and was genuine the whole way through. I think thats why johnny was smiling because of how humble this guy was and unapologetically himself.

Bail is returned to the depositor 30 business days after the case is exonerated. The court does not keep the money- Now, if you went to a bondsman to bail you out, you do owe them a percentage for lending you that 10% to bail you out.

I have deep respect for the women coming forward, not automatically siding with AH; and in fact, calling her out. I find it incredibly brave for women to talk about bad female behavior, and their experiences with DV. Listening to their stories over the past few days have been incredible moving... And you know what... I believe them.

Her lawyers have repeatedly attempted to have this case dismissed - despite her 100 million countersuit. I find that to be rather telling.

I’m obsessed with this case. I’m taking a break from watching clips from it to watch this 😂 Edit: this being streamed is GOOD news for Johnny. Even if he loses, he has won the public. And that’s what matters. He’ll get coin if the people want to see him!

He wanted it to be public. Because his image was damaged. His team wanted it that way. Also, I also think that regardless of the outcome, we can all agree she is a liar. Which is important for Johnny. I hope she suffer the consequences of lying, other victims may not be believed because of her audacity of lying and using something so real for others, for her own benefit. She makes me sick. Having a history of DV is very sickening what she is doing.

Apparently Amber was married to a woman in the past and an officer witnessed her abusing her wife and she was chaged with domestic assault but she got it taken off her record. That woman is clearly the abuser.

Her domestic violence expert was so sickening. I hope Amber gets cancelled from Hollywood and that Dr never has another client ever again

Hi guys!! Anyway, I'm pretty sure when u use a bailsbond to post bail, u pay the bailsbond 10% then they go and pay the full amount of bail to get u released. U are then required to go back to court on ur assigned court date where the bailsbond will be refunded the money back. If u don't go back to court, the bailsbond will lose that money and that's when they send out their bounty hunters to apprehend u. They also go after the person who signed and hired the bailsbond for the full amount of money they lost out on. It's all meant to insure u report back to court on ur assigned court date. That's y they do a background check and make sure the person who hires them on ur behalf shows proof of income to make sure they can pay them back in case u do skip out and disappear. I hope this made sense. 😂 love u both!! Edit: when the bailsbond pays the jail ur bail, they pay the full amount... not 10%. 10% is just what u pay them to hire them as ur bailsbond. At least that's how it is here in NJ.

Wasn't Johnny's mom very abusive to his dad? And didn't his dad stay? Maybe there's some deep rooted trauma there

I CANNOT wait for her cross examination because there’s a lot of things she testified that will be brought up. Like mentioning Kate Moss, now JD’s legal team can bring up her exes. The same exes her legal team fought not to be used😂

Im super excited to hear your take on this! Just wanted to make a note about the financial situation. According to testimony from JD’s accountant, AH asked for a 7 million dollar payout AND she asked that JD pay all of their combined debt (that was accrued during their marriage) AND her legal fees. In total he ended up paying close to 15 million dollars. He basically paid with his reputation, his money, and he was also the one enduring the abuse. Situation is F’d.

I can't imagine how stressed out the jury is about this whole case. They have such a heavy responsibility to make the right choice and find the facts to determine who is guilty of the abuse. It's so clear to me and so many others that Johnny is the winner in this case wether he actually wins or not, but I can only imagine how the jury feels after seeing amber up there with her so obviously poorly acting skills. I just hope JD wins this case.

Johnny was actually the one who fought for the camera’s in the court room. Ambers team did not want them. Amber was actually given 14 mil in the settlement but claimed that she was giving 7 million to charity and didnt disclose the full amount of the settlement. Johnny depp made the first payments directly to the charities under her name. Amber didnt like that and claimed he was doing it for the tax right off, so after that first payment all other payments were sent directly to her and her team, from that point onward the charities received no further payments.

I dated a man like Amber for 5 years before I married him. Yes, there were red flags but he was always so so sorry. Less than a week after we were married the real insanity started. I didn't know he had mental disorders until we tried marriage counseling and the counselor explained it all to me. These type of people do slowly drive you insane and certainly do make you say and do things you normally wouldn't. They know EXACTLY how to push your buttons. I feel bad for him...sincerely bad. They are evil and such liars and get stuff in their heads that they truly believe even tho none of it's true. They do constantly pick on you 24/7 and twist everything around on you. I pray the jury can see the truth.

This is why California, for example, offers victim advocates as a form of support. Let's not spread the message that all women are believed, because that is often not the case. Abusers are highly manipulative and often charismatic, which lends to people often believing abusers. - A DV survivor.

I work for a sheriffs department in wisconsin and here you have to pay the full bail and it might get returned after the case.

His sister talks that way also. As a DV survivor, I am 100% convinced that she is abusive and lying through her teeth. It has been 40 years since I got out of the abusive relationship I had at 18 and I STILL couldn’t be that matter of fact about him dragging her by her hair and punching her. It is triggering even now watching this trial. I want to give him a mom hug even though we are the same age!

FYI: it’s all bundled in to the same case (the suit and counter suit) so it will all be decided by the jury at the end of this trial. The jury will be deciding if Johnny Depp was defamed, if Amber Hurd was defamed, or if neither of them were defamed and it’s a wash.

This cross examination is gonna be sooooooo good. Camille is gonna kill it. Gonna be the longest 10 days ever lol

Yeah Johnny's not playing anything up. A lot of celebrities (Keanu Reeves, Bruce Willis, Joaquin Phoenix) speak similarly. I also hear exhaustion in his voice. This isn't two pretty faces in a courtroom, this is real life for Johnny and unfortunately I don't think people realize that unless they've been through abuse themselves.

I’ve been watching Emily D Baker livestream this & break it down as we go & I am hooked!! Fucking hooked. At the end of the day, I absolutely hate thinking someone could lie about such horrific violent acts but I think she is & I believe Depps witnesses. PS. Defamation is very hard to prove but even if he doesn’t win, he’s still has had his side finally heard & he’s won in the court of public opinion. Over 3.6 million people have signed a petetition to have her removed from the Aquaman sequel & Jason Momoa starting following Johnny on Instagram.

You pay for the rest of the bail if the person runs and skips out on court. If they show up to court they don’t pay the remaining of the bail.

According to court documents and statements, JD donated in her behalf because he believed she would NOT donate the money herself.

If I remember correctly, they said in court that she actually DID use Johnny’s name in that op-ed but later took his name out but the damage had already been done because people saw the original. Or something along those lines. P.s. her “teams” goal is to disprove SCAMber Teard wrote the op-ed but AS SOON as she started testifying, the first thing that comes out of her mouth is that she’s being sued because of an op-ed she HAD written. Js 🙄🙄

So I read somewhere Johnny donated under her name coz he didn't trust her. Then she was pissed coz she thought he was doing it for tax purposes. Re turd: In opening statement Amber's lawyer said that Amber doing it was ridiculous coz she has 'fecalphobia' but later in the statement said that Amber looked after Johnny when he was wasted and would clean him up after he pooped himself..... um...? But she's got 'fecalphobia'. Everything Curry explained in her findings are so obviously present in Amber's time in the hot seat.

The quote was crazyyyy "TELL THE WORLD JOHNNY! TELL THEM I JOHNNY DEPP, A MAN, AM A VICITM OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE TOO" and he said yes, i am.

I went into this trial with not knowing anything about this trial! I had no idea who AH even was and not much about JD! I’ve watched this trial live every day since day one and my heart breaks for JD! I can’t believe all the evidence that’s come out in favor for JD!? Turd 💩 is one evil person imo! I hope all her lies come out! The reason it’s televised is also bc JD fought to have it shown to the public! Turd fought against this and was denied! JD wanted the world to hear his story!❤️ justice for Johnny!!
