Johnny Silverhand wrote "Never Fade Away" for Alt Cunningham This version of the song is a cover that was used during the end credits of the game • Cyberpunk 2077 - Never...
Funny i didn't even connect that, thought Johnny was just uncharacteristically eager to have us get the phonecall over and done with😅 fantastic touch, this game really is something special
Finally! Someone who noticed that. I really like new facial expressions and body movements. Devs did a good job (expext not selling the game in my country, but nvm)
I think he loved her and knew it, but he couldn't get past his own ego, couldn't put her first. I think he knew it, and tried, there's some speech options when he talks to her where he tries to be decent, be good to her, but then his ego kicks in and he screws it all up.
Idk... Fairly certain he always loved her, but the entire point of his character arc is that he's a selfish jerk even to the people he cares about. ._.
I gained so much more appreciation for Samurai's version of this song after my most recent playthrough. Spoilers ahead, but I accidentally got Aaron killed and Johnny doesnt really show any remorse for it and V asks him how he can't feel anything and he just reaponds with, "I've heard this song a million times before V, know the lyrics by heart." Genuinely one of the best deliveries Keanu has ever given.
@@edgar541Ouch, I was way too under level (and playing on most difficult level) so I just skipped Sasquatch fight. Now you made me regret that I didn't load my earlier save and leveled up before visiting Voodoo Boys :/
This is both cute with Johnny showing V how to use the phone, but also sad because it hurts Johnny to lose Alt. They did phenomenally well with the facial expressions.
I love how V didnt know how to use the phone but johnny did and i love how it shows how much johnny does care about things how he aint heartless since it is his favorite song he wrote and also my favorite song from the game
I love this version of the song, it hits SO god damn hard in the credits after all you've been through and your long journey finally comes to its end. Had me holding back tears. A Phenomenal game all around.
Everyone is talking about how the song was about Johnny's love of Alt, but I also like to add it is about the journey of V and Johnny. Both characters teach each other as they progress together.
Hey man, you have self-awareness. It took him dying to realize how badly he fucked up, and you're still alive to tell the tale. Things can change & improve for you.
I love how I've got nearly 1650 hours in the game and I'm *still* finding new content and easter eggs, even though I'm a pretty thorough explorer. This one made me so saaaad. Just wanted to give Silverhand a huge hug :'((
0:26 jeez the facial expression on his face is so realistic i was smiling AS A REACTION to his! never have i ever reacted to a fictional character like that as if they were real people! the facial animation is stunning to say the least!
Out of all the songs on Cyberpunk this one and many others really could create a mood. Often would let the songs play as i drove through night city. Favorite part aside from story was the playlist.
I'm pretty sure her holding the phone out is not because she's unaware of how to use it. She's holding it out like you would if he was a real person so both can hear it, but he reminds her that she doesn't need to do that with him, since he's in her body, not a physical other person. To me, that's the most logical reason. It's instantly what I thought when I first saw this easter egg. Sure, for her it would be "ancient" technology, so there could be a little bit of that in there, too, but I never saw it as that being the main reason for her holding it out at first. Either way, it's cute how he reminds her to put to her ear instead.
Нравится что звучит именно эта версия, но больше удивляет Лицо Джонни, вроде как он написал ее после потери альт, а в такой момент его лицо так меняется... Честно, это моя любимая песня
So fun fact, the mission title Lucretia My reflection is a gothic rock song written by the sisters of mercy and later covered by Black Light Burns. Both songs are 🔥 but I like the cover.
Yes, there are a bunch of numbers on the wall that you can try, one of them play a soundtrack from the Witcher You can also call 911 for a funny reaction from Johnny 😁
Where.is.it.? I want to give this to my Johnny... this more sensitive man than we all thought at the beginning... i did the quest where he says that nothing change after we buy stuff to the old fan 2 days ago... it could be nice to give it to him now...
It's really interesting to think that V knows the 🤙sign but never really thought about it's meaning, kinda like people today are saying phrase "you suck" without knowing about its musical roots
@@ZrodyApothis version - anywhere, it's clearly an alternative version of the P. T. Adamczyk version with Olga Jankowska but the drums are different and it doesn't have a drop it's just the looped bridge
@@G59METHno i think it just sounds fucked a lot of the song is in the low end and that’s all cut here because it’s out of a shitty phone speaker. I’m not 100% sure but i’m pretty sure
@@EddieFreak yeah the quality is bad but when you listen to both versions back to back, the drums and the drum patterns are different, you can especially hear a different kick pattern. Once I buy Phantom Liberty I'll try to look into the files to see if it isn't just a looped mp3 file.
So sad after finishing this.. none of the endings I got was satisfying to me except maybe Path of Glory. This game surely was a "thing of beauty" regardless.
There are 3 or 4 numbers on the well right next to the phone, one of them plays this song and another one plays a soundtrack from the Witcher 3 I forgot what the other numbers do 😅😆
It's right next to the phole on the wall, there are 3 or 4 numbers in total that you can use One of the others will play a soundtrack from the Witcher 3
