No it does not, it does have a stud which holds the spiked foot which could possibly be removed (I didn't try). I'm not sure how stable something that tall would be. At full height the way the tripod is now, it is stable enough to use but i don't think adding a more height would be that stable. Thanks for watching.
The company selling these said there was a problem with the packaging from the factory and Amazon removed the Carbon Fiber wording from the listing, she assured me that this is for the Carbon fiber model and they have contacted Amazon to correct the page.
