Thank you! If I may share my story... For over two decades, I have used all of the supplements found in the Solgar item and derived some, although limited, benefit. (Imo, Solgar is an excellent brand in general.) After trying many non-drug supplements during those years, I have experienced consistent, long-term pain-relief from osteoarthritis with the daily supplementation of Great Lakes hydrolyzed bovine collagen and high-dose Vitamin D3. Prior to those, the first step was to eliminate inflammation, which I did with the use of MSM powder, Boron, and the elimination of sugar. These steps significantly reduced inflammation and allowed my cells the ability to effectively assimilate collagen to the benefit of remaining knee cartilage. (Surprisingly, Vitamin D3, being a hormone, is very beneficial to joint health as well as our overall health, including immunity and brain health.) I have lived virtually pain-free now for four years. Being an age 67 yoga teacher, I am extremely grateful to have thus far avoided the knee replacements the Dr speculated that I would have needed to have years ago. Note: If interested in high-dose Vitamin D3 (avoid D2), it is advised to have a medical Vitamin D blood test to determine current levels before beginning high-dose supplementation. Thank you so much for your channel. I love the advice you provide, particularly as it relates to strengthening glutes and hips for knee health. That advice has been very beneficial to me and my yoga students.
@@karenlucci2154 ... Thank you! I forgot to add... With the taking of Vitamin D3, the addition of Vitamin K2 is extremely important for proper assimilation. Best of health~
I'm so glad you shared this. I told myself this morning that I have to quit taking ibuprofen because it raises your blood pressure. The mechanical side is where Alyssa Kuhn comes in. She is a life saver with arthritis!
The NIH did a study a few years ago and concluded that glucosamine gave some relief for arthritis; they also found that chondroitin simply did not get to the joints where needed.
I am just 25 suffering from arthritis I do fasting of 24hr once a week and cut down all sugar no carbs and have chia seeds empty stomach it helped me lot now I don’t take any medicine or suplements as it has just been a week I tried it hope it will work 😌
Yes I got the same one you did from the same company I was just looking for the bottle. I was going to go down to the vitamin store tomorrow to replace it oh well pretty easy to find
Please mention to ask your medical provider about interaction of any supplements. I have kidney issues and high bp on meds and arthritis so not all meds are good for me.
the 2-pack of 120 tablets is not available 2/19/24. Only single bottles of 60 tablets (20 days) at $32. Is there another version /similar product you would recommend? Thanks.
Hello, and thank you for your videos, they've been a great help! Question: do you still recommend this? It isn't available anywhere online, and I'm wondering if it's discontinued. Even on the Solgar site, when you click on Where to Buy, it's never available. Is there something else you recommend that's shellfish free? Thanks in advance!
Wish you'd commented more on the individual components regarding how much of each this product contains. As an example, 30 mg of hyaluronic acid looks like a joke...
First Last I believe nutrients are past through to the middle of joints by movement of the fluids. Something to do with negative and positive pressure. I believe Dr John Bergman explains this in a video on knees and hips.
@@magicsupamoggie Thanks for interesting comment. John Bergman, I believe, is a chiropractor rather than medical doctor and somewhat controversial. That is not to say that his views aren't worth considering. What I would say is that is debatable whether those substances can get there. I'm not sure whether there is much in the way of hard evidence to guide us on this.
@@linagacha1164now there's a point! There are 1,000's of testimonials, testifying of the huge benefits of Glucosamine Chondroitin. So something must be getting to the joints!
I like this product review, but I get deflated when the supplement is presented as a pill. I'll have to grind it up if I take that. That heat process to make tablets is problematic. A lot of pills just pass whole through the body and out the exit. End up in the toilet. They don't break down or exhibit poor absorption rates. I prefer capsules or liquid supplements. Do you have any comment or reflection on the absorbability of this product? Thanks!
Joint N-11 by Zenith Lab. My physician recommended this supplement and said he takes it daily. He claims it has helped his joints and painful back tremendously. Have you ever heard of it? 🧐
Hi, I have watched a few of your videos, they are great! What supplement would you recommend for joints 'popping'? I have Osteropersos, and am having Spinal decompression therapy; however they have been making this huge noise for months now. Its embarrassing, I often will not go out in the public as I sound like I will fall apart! thanks, Jude
I used another product with glucosamine and chondroitin and really didn't work. I've heard mixed reviews on these 2 some studies say they help, others say no benefit
Swiss Food Giant “ Nestle “ Purchased Solgar in April 2021 A BIG Red Flag To Me ! Will They Continue to Produce The Same Quality Supplements & For How Long ?
Thank you for that information, I have been purchasing several soccer supplements and for the last two months I have noticed a tremendous difficulty in getting any of my usuals, one company that I have research that seems to produce high quality is called Natural Factors. But I’m going to really pay attention to this change of ownership. May you be Blessed. 🥀🕊💙

Yes I have a cheap generic brand right now. Which I take three times a day and I always wonder. Am I going to choke to death. On this pill. It's always a crap shoot well I die or not.
Gives me diarrhea and drowsiness which I can't deal with. There are many other side effects and contraindications that should be researched prior to taking this product.
Tried solgar biotin and broke out with hives , too scared to try anything now from this brand , can u suggest any other alternatives . Too expensive to buy and then not use . Surely I must have been allergic to something in that . I am from India .
labels usually say "take 3 per day with a meal" and i never kno if they mean take three all at once? or take one in the morning... the second at noon... and the third at night? he didn't really make it clear (to me anywayz) i wish i knew :(
@@evka24 tnx for the tip (i think)... so i check their website and it says the exact same thing "TAKE THREE PER DAY WITH A MEAL" so i called their cust svc number and they recommend take ONE three times a day with a meal. i mean, why do they not jst say that in the first place ?! and for what it's worth, i stopped into a local QNC store and asked three people who were shopping vitamin supplements what they thought... got three different answers (sigh) they thought it should say Take 3 per day with Meals (plural) I bet u a dollar ther are people taking 3 capsuls all at once :) Edit: that was suppose to be GNC store
Hey Carolina, focusing on supplements and exercise will help you find long term relief instead of having to rely on medication such as codamine. In case you need it, here is a playlist with several videos on knee arthritis help: “Knee Arthritis Pain Help” ru-vid.com/group/PLJVIPiFvv1maa9YF-WmKLF7oI4VoczH8i
I have been using it, but I recently learned that the company was bought out by Nestlé‘s in 2021 and most products have been unavailable for the last month or so, we’re wondering if they’ve been reformulated and we’re gonna have to check out the laboratory reviews.
