this kind of reminds me of when me, my grandpa, my classmate, a frenchman, a fortune teller and a dog went to Egypt to defeat this immortal vampire guy and save the world
I thought that too, i had the theory that Araki heard the song and wanted to write a story about a journey to egypt, so they could Walk Like An Egyptian
I want the song gold by Prince for part 5 golden wind to be the ed but i know it'll never happen since prince and the people who own the rights to his songs are super protective over their songs hell i think Prince even tried to sue araki at one point.
+Kenny_Muh_Man !TRES BIEN! Same! This was one of my favorite songs growing up. Had no idea they were using it for an anime. To be fair, this might have been better suited to Yu-Gi-Oh!...but I'm glad it ended up in a better anime. :P
Matheusfpolis1 also if you look carefully at 0:08 the arrow splits into six different arrows that creates the sun on the tarot card, which hints to Part 5
For those who are clueless "Walk Like an Egyptian" is a song made famous by American band The Bangles. It was released in 1986 as the third single from the album Different Light. It was a million-selling single and became Billboard's number-one song of 1987.
Zack Smith they only made it better in the sense they brought an oldie song to a new generation of kids that would had normal never listen to a song that their parent or grandparent grew up with
@@Heroduothecomedian I don't know about that. I'm 20, and I love oldies! 50's through 80's. It's what I grew up with, today's generation of music is crap. I knew of this song long before watching Jojo.
@@Paige098 well your one of the few.i know alot younger then me and my own age group that hatea oldies and doesn't undersfand how our parents could love that kind of music
I can't disconnect the song from JoJo now... When I hear it on the radio, I'm always "Heh, JoJo Part 3 ending..." For some reason, I like the song much better than I did before.
I like how despite the literal hint during this ED, no anime only fan figured out that Star Platinum could stop time The hint being the clock that appears after Star Platinum’s hands
Polnareff - "Look, I'm just saying it's weird they used Walk Like An Egyptian for the parts we weren't even in Egypt. Avdol - "Polnareff, that take is so cold, Magician Red couldn't melt it"
I love how my mom heard me hearing this ending and singing a loud And that one time my father was surprised that I know about king crimson Jojo reuniting generations thanks to its music :v
I showed this to my dad when he asked why the comments section for the walk like an Egyptian music video is over flooded with jojo references. Upon first glance, with no other context, he thought that stands were superhero alter-egos and not spiritual manifestations. This is a very cursed idea for jojo and I just thought I’d share that with you all
If that red stone on Joseph's necklace was the stone of aja, or one of the other red stones that kars tried using, it mightve saved them a lot of shit against dio
I had liked this song for such a long time ever since I was a kid. I was in disbelief the first time I heard this used as an ending for Jojo. I had to listen to it again. I remember the same thing happened with Ergo Proxy's ending using "Paranoid Android" by Radiohead.
Wow, didn't expect to get nostalgic from this ED already. The Stardust Crusaders era was so much fun-that's when the fandom really started to gain momentum (outside of Japan, that is).
It probably will more then likely. The JoJo anime is right one of the highest rated both in Japan and North America, and JoJo has been popular since the 80s. It will get adapted once Diamond is Unbreakable is done.
Holy shit, I'm not the only one who wants that for Part 5! I'd also accept Wake Me Up Before You Go Go by Wham as its ending. If either ends up happening, might I suggest it having it seem like Giorno and his group are singing it (and if it ends the other song, I'd LOVE it if it was Giorno singing with Bucclati and the others dancing and singing parts of the chrous.)
I don't know if anyone noticed, but Avdol has two right hands in this ending! Thankfully, they fixed this mistake, because his hands are normal in episode 11's ending!
All the old paintings on the tomb They do the sand dance, don't you know? If they move too quick They're falling down like a domino All the bazaar men by the Nile They got the money on a bet Gold crocodiles They snap their teeth on your cigarette Foreign types with the hookah pipes say Walk like an Egyptian The blonde waitresses take their trays They spin around and they cross the floor They've got the moves You drop your drink, then they bring you more All the school kids so sick of books They like the punk and the metal band When the buzzer rings They're walking like an Egyptian All the kids in the marketplace say Walk like an Egyptian
I watched stardust crusaders last year in may or so and it took me until the start of this year in January to finish it, it’s a lot of episodes but I still very memorable, exciting, re-watchable and overall a good story and amazing characters
i got my dad to watch jojo with me and he would always play the endings all the way through because he knew all of the songs and would sometimes even sing with them
