But in to knowing him better, you see that he just like to put that edgy pink upfront, the only reason Jotaro refused to be released was because he wasn't in full control of Star Platinum and was afraid of hurting more people
@@atanor2768 Because Jotaro's mission was different from that of Giorno. Jotaro just wanted to save his mother and defeat Dio, nothing more. But Giorno wanted to save Italy by becoming a gangstar and betraying the gang. You have no choice but to kill when you become a gangstar. Plus Most of Dio's goon stand users were either paid or controlled by flesh bud. Giorno's enemies were actual gang members who would give they're life to kill traitors.
No wonder the women wanted to take a picture of him. "A plaid and victory rolls? A bright pink marching band uniform with a tiddy window? Dude's probably a clown or something!" "Don't say that, maybe he's just some street performer..."
Right? I wish he was a bit more flesh out onward. At least in this anime, they could of put in some filters to flesh him out more like having friendly conversations with the other cast and Trish.
Hafizh M “Jonathan side?” Oh, I get it. Granted, his Dio side is more of a generic killing angry serious justice side than just killing to achieve a goal. A reason why I think Lucina is boring personality wise and why everyone hates Nero in DMC 4.
It kind of shows how much the gangster he saved effected him. He was essentially doing the same thing. Gaining money on his turf from other people and paying for a random boys ice cream
@Everything is a JoJo Reference I mean it’s pretty hard to top the characterization of part 7, everyone has next to no complaints and everyone holds part 7 very dear to their hearts. A lot of people consider it to be the best JoJo part yet.
Its a shame that Araki didn't put one of Will Zeppeli's descendents in part 5. Because Caeser did have brothers and sisters, so maybe they had children? Ether way opportunity missed
It was this scene that really helped solidify Giorno as a character we can like. It was similar to how we could connect with Aladdin. Both are thieves with hearts of gold. I doubt Giorno took all of her money. However, he did prevent her entire wallet from being stolen which undoubtedly contained her ID and credit cards. He could have taken it, but it gave them back to her. The fact he gave her back most of what belonged to her made it easy to connect to Giorno along with the fact he bought an ice cream for the kid as well.
And this may sound weird, but I like that Araki wasn’t afraid to let Giorno take the back seat many times (his stand requires him to be a support type anyway). Sure, he still gets to do quite a lot, but because the rest of the gang is given enough time to shine, the whole group dynamic is improved. That’s also why I think we consider the Bruno squad to be among the best groups in the series. And in a very strange way, the fact that not everything in the world revolves around Giorno (unlike Joseph and Luffy) makes him feel more like a person to me. Like, he’s a part of a larger world where everyone has their own motivations.
Sees a man pickpocket a girl, and proceeds to steal it back all the while not letting the thief know that he was just outclassed. Then he uses his powers to steel some money from her with the intent to buy himself some ice cream but then notices a lone kid looking at the ice cream stand obviously wanting some so he buys two of them and gives one to the kid before leaving moving on with his day. Excuse me while I take notes on character writing. Edit: Noticed people complaining about my grammar on this comment 10 months later. Not only do I not care at all, but do people really get so miffed about poor grammar in a youtube comment? This isn't English class. Anyway I fixed it so you all can stop now.
Jonathan in heaven when he sees giorno getting that girls purse from the thief : HELL YEAH THATA MY BOY Jonathan when he realizes giorno took that girls money : SUNLIGHTO YELLOW OBADRIBU
@@brushmepapa9662 Jonathan: W-wait what's that gloopy green food? We never had those before! Kakyoin: It's ice cream, Mr. Joestar. Jonathan: Oh, I suppose I should've escaped that ship to try some of that.
The way I see it, those two girls seemed like tourists and their passports/id and other important things were going to be stolen, maybe even their identities? So...grabbing it back for them in the first place is enormously generous to them, it seems like a fair enough trade and they would have probably wanted to reward him if they knew about it anyway. Sometimes being morally ambiguous is being a lot more human than a lot of us want to admit. No one is all good or all bad
Giorno can be an amazingly kind kid most of the time. Especially remembering his childhood when he got bullied half his life and still had guts to save a man's life. Ignoring his Golden Experience lol
@@HeliosimWorld its not anime logic, there are very few shows that care about the native language of the country they're set in, the only one I can think of rn is barbarians
I love how we later saw the ice cream guy in Giorno's backstory. After all these years, he's still a regular in his shop and he seems to enjoy it when his customers also buy for children
This same blonde 15 year old will go on to climb the rank of a gang with stands and kill a head boss of a mob and obtain an OP ass stand...must've been karma for giving that kid some ice cream.
_lets just agree that the ice cream place is when baby giorno was buying ice cream at his backstory and the ice cream flavour was the ice cream that originally giorno buyed him self when he was little (pistachio) and the the gangter guy gave him a * treat * which is another ice cream scoop (chocolate)_
@Ace I know but imagine walking down the street and seeing a serial killer blow up a random person and you start hearing rain noises and then suddenly you're blown into pieces Definitely normal (yeah I know it has slice of life in it's tags but it kinda feels ironic especially after the last episode of the part ngl)
Bro, out of all the JoJo's I think Giorno is the hottest and I love how everyone has their own unique voice, as Jonathan sounds like an ordinary British guy (even though he's not) Then Joseph sounds like the total clown he is, then Jotaro, a very deep voice fitting his looks, and Josuke sounds like a normal, teenage highschooler, the Giorno calm, and also fitting for how he looks. Then Jolyne, a tough, young adult, then Johnny he has like a mixture of Josukes voice and Giorno's but higher, the Gappy he sounds very calm too but different at the same time
Bro Giorno is so cool for buying that kid a Ice Cream Cone, very Gentleman like (certainly inherited that from his genetical father) and yet mischievous (like his 'gay' father)
This scene wasn't even in the Manga. Anime giorno has way more personality than Manga giorno. Thank you David Productions for correcting some miss steps from the Manga and make part 5 way more enjoyable than it had any right to be
[SPOILER ALERT] If you haven’t finished Golden Wind, don’t read this all the way to the bottom. I’m telling you. Trust me. You’ll regret it. Have you forgotten that he also became a literal leader of a criminal Mafia?
I like how Golden Wind starts off in the serene setting of Naples, and our Giorno being so wholesome. Little did I know...... 20 episodes later: OMG HE BETRAYED THE BOSS AND HAS KILLED MORE THAN JOTARO DID WTF
Yeah, you have to be careful when you're on big cities in Italy you don't know whether someone is going to pickpocket you or not. Giorno was slick when he saved that woman's wallet. Also I like how his heart is pure when he gave that little kid an ice cream or is they like to call in Italy, gelato, because he knows the life of being a kid that age.
I saw someone unironically say that an Araki forgot moment was when " giorno could turn things into money" I don't think people look at the show they're watching
