This second Joker has that melodrama, pathos motion picture feeling … I like the feeling and ideas of romance, exaggerated psychological progress, and criminal defining elements of character developments. I see many Joker movies to come, just like Batman has developed. Joker has to catch up to Batman per the comic reputation. In my opinion, the box office should be over 2.5 billion for this second movie as Phoenix plays , yet again, in the second… please keep acting this character. The Joker will develop more and hopefully Phoenix continues.
Heath was amazing but was barely in the movie whereas Joaquin is hardly ever off screen. Joaquin can sing. He sang live in Walk The Line and used to work as a busker to earn money before his acting career began. Just because it was years ago doesnt matter! Tom Jones is still singing and he's decades older. Harley is still a psychiatrist in this movie. I love that Gary, Arthur's clown co worker is in the hallucination where Joker and Harley is getting married. The musical numbers are going to be as hallucinations. Gaga's voice is much better suited to Harley than Margot's was. Margot just used the same fake Los Angeles accent she uses in every role she does. Harley is supposed to be from Gotham/New York City and Gaga is NYC born and raised.
Its not a musical. I don't see anyone doing their research. Phillips a couple of days ago confirmed that it isn't. It's going to be similar as the first where music is an element to the story but it's not a musical.
