Just want to say something else I forgot to say!!! Another Joker I loved was Gotham’s Joker. I really enjoyed him. Different take, of course - but also really twisted.

Still got chills even after watching this about 100 Times

Comic book fans are gonna see a great Film..and be utterly confused..trust me. It will be oscar worthy..but "movie goers" will be like, "I didnt like his Joker laugh"..or some other stupid nonsense. A generation raised on trash movies (And most Marvel/DC films are just north of trash) cant process great storytelling..they just can't

'm so excited for this trailer! If you know comic lore this is finally what is known as the "Golden Age" Joker. Something never covered on film...Heath Ledger was an amazing joker but he was a "Modern Age" Joker...This is the Joker artists had in mind when creating the joker...no fancy gadgets no Harley Quinn just a intelligent sick psychopath serial killer. Before the Comic Committee censored joker This is the original joker.

I have to admit that I was not interested in seeing this movie at first. But, after seeing the trailers and listening to spoiler free reviews, I really want to see it now.

The song they used was written by Charlie Chaplin. which there are scenes in here that harken back to his bits in silent comedy films. I see it as a character study as Martin Scorsese who is a producer on Joker, and this trailer has the tone of Taxi Driver and some of The King of Comedy, which stars Robert DeNiro in both, plus a little twist of The Killing Joke graphic novel. It most likely is an Elseworlds type storyline... I think they can use the idea for a Batman film because Joker is supposed to be 12-15 years older than Bruce Wayne who's the boy he tries to make a smile on . Zazie Beatz might turn into Harley Quinn if she utters a line in the Diner scene like, "That's funny Mr. J" and he responds like, "Mr. J?" and she replies back, "You know, J as in Joker..." Take my money now for this movie WB/DC!

This reminded me of ' Taxi Driver' for some reason.. maybe because both document a man's dissent into madness. Looking forward to this.

I just find it intriguing that we no longer need a freak accident or falling into a chemical to justify a villain like the Joker. It really is getting crazier out there. He’s a product of society, and in 2019, that’s believable.

I love the cinematography. No wonder they say this movie is inspired by Martin Scorsese's films Taxi Driver, Raging Bull and The King of Comedy. That scene where he is running from the tunnel is so beautiful and could be straight from some Scorsese film. And there was also Robert De Niro in this trailer, who starred all those 3 films.

Best Actor and best movie picture for the Oscars.

I wouldn’t say DC are fully back yet but I’m still really excited for the Joker solo film and Joaquin Phoenix is great actor and solid choice for the character so excited to see what he will bring! I don't Doubt that this will be an award worthy movie. However I doubt if u will see a sequel to it or even this Joker in a DC universe film. J.P. has never done a movie that has a sequel and he had the chance to be DR. Strange and turned down the part, probably because he didn't want to be locked into a character for more than 1 movie. Just saying. I would Pump the breaks on putting DC up there with Marvel though. I love Marvel and DC. Wonder Woman and Aquaman were great. But 2 weeks into theaters It hasn't made it budget back yet and it's already been overseas. HELL BOY looks like it's about to bomb. It didn't even open to a number 1 at the box office. The Joker movie does look awesome
