I'm gonna set it up let's say part 6 didn't happen and Jolyne didn't go to jail. And Jotaro came back home for a while just to be attacked by a new stand user who hates the Joestars. Jotaro is incapacitated and can't help. His next target is Josuke so Jotaro sends Jolyne to get help from Giorno to stop said stand user. She gets to Italy finds Giorno and explains the situation. Giorno leaves Mista in charge then goes to Morioh where they have to take down said threat with Josuke. They encounter the previous gang in Morioh where they then take down said threat and other stand users. Then Jotaro gets to Morioh to tell everyone to prepare because Pucci is coming here with another gang of villains. Pucci knows about everyone's stand and has a counter measure especially for Giorno's stand.
Of all the JoJos she seems to have the best disposition toward Giorno. I feel that if she knew Josuke when she was younger, she'd be heavily bonded toward him.
Yeah.... So it's Jonathan + Erina.... = Lisa Lisa. Lisa Lisa + Unknown Father = Joseph. Joseph + Josuke's mom = Josuke. Joseph + Suzi = Holly. Holly + Jotaro's dad = Jotaro. Jay Garrick Yeah. Giorno is in his late teens/early-mid 20s and he's Jotaro's great-uncle. And that's just ONE example of how weird the Joestar family tree is. Oh and Dio has OTHER KIDS besides Giorno who are technically Jonathan Joestar's kids as well. Which makes them..... I don't know. I'm honestly wondering how Joseph managed to even seduce someone younger than Holly.
Steel4 excatly if Giorno or any of the other children of Dio/Jonathan have children then the children of their children would be the same generation of Jotaro but by the time they are born Jotaro will be dead also Joylene is Giorno's great great niece
Jay Garrick I think Giorno would have had kids after the events of Vento Aureo. So the Joestar line would have survived somehow. Wow..... I wonder how Jolyne felt when she found out that she had a great uncle (Josuke) and great-great-uncle (Giorno) who are both around the same age as her. Seeing as EOH is its own thing.

Great-Uncle, technically speaking. Son of Joseph, Which means hes Brother in law to Holly, Jotaro is the son of Holly, So Josuke is Jotaro's Uncle, Jotaro has a child, He's now a Great-Uncle. Again, Technically. He might not be considered a part of the family.

To be fair jotaro didn't really abandoned her. He just leaves to fight stand users and keep her safe, but she still get in the "Joestar mess" in the end. She basically gets framed just because she is jotaro's child. I understand him but i think it would be better if he stayed with Jolyne and his wife. But Araki loves drama with daddy issues.

@@rsvos3641 Jotaro is a good parent that's why he left her in the first place Japanese literature is all about "left your loved ones for the greater good/something better for them" But I think the western fandom would preffer more if Jotaro was some kind "helicopter parent" then child Jolyne dies or get injuried by a enemy stand users, this is more a western style "family drama" than "daddy issues"

While Jotaro's motivations were understandable, there is no doubt that he WAS a terrible father, even if he didn't want to be away from Jolyne for so long

@ if giorno was in part 6 pucci would've lost and we wouldn't have part 7 and 8 (which were much needed for araki to evolve as an artist tbh). And i don't think josuke would do it to repay a debt, he would do it because he's genuinely the kindest joestar aside from Jonathan himself, and because jolyne is his nephew. Still tho even without giorno, the speed wagon foundation is allied with giorno's gang, which is the most powerful in the world, he could literally just send a small army of stand users to at least deal with the allies of pucci and the sons of Dio or even to investigate on whitesnake's identity beforehand. For real the only reason as to why pucci won was because of Araki's desire to reset the universe
