Rich Eisen has always been a top level sports media analyst/personality. There's a reason he survived after leaving ESPN and is clearly still thriving in the current climate.. Some dudes just get it and some dudes are Chris Berman

@@slicedbread5692 Honestly, I think his leaving ESPN and taking the lead chair at NFL Network back in the day was the best move he ever made. It freed him from the ESPN BS and allowed him to make his own deals and grow this thing that he has.

I don't watch live baseball, I don't even understand most of the rules, am a former cricket player from Europe, and I avidly watch all Jomboy's content. Jomboy and Pat McAfee are exactly what sports media/journalism needs a lot more of. Big props to Rich Eisen for realising the direction of travel and getting ahead of the curve 👍

Pretty big PR moment for Jomboy. Makes sense to have Eisen repeat it over and over. If someone clips this and shares a snippet, good chance Jomboy is mentioned directly. Whether this was planned or not is the only question. It's beneficial to the Jomboy media team either way.

Sometimes the ball is visibly wobbling in the slo-mo shots. Maybe MLB undid that "centering the pill" that was talked about in 2019. But I don't recall noticing any wobble in 2018 or earlier.

TBH if everyone does it I don't think it matters. just go out say you can do it. if everyone has the advantage there is no advantage. Also let the batters use corked bats. It will make the game more interesting. its fun to see bats break, insane curve balls and fast balls. without that the game is to slow to even watch. that's why I watch jomboy, instead of the actual game.

The issue with cheating in baseball is that its so widespread. Astros were no the only 1 with cameras. Corkedbats substances steroids all of that are in the sport.

Why don’t the pitchers get their hats, arms, gloves etc. checked before first pitch, and relievers the same as they’re brought into the game by the ump nearest their bullpen? Any foreign substance found leads to immediate ejection.
