Jon Anderson (age 79 at showtime) was a founding member, songwriter and lead vocalist of YES for many years. Other founding members included bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Peter Banks, keyboardist Tony Kaye, and drummer Bill Bruford. In 2008, Anderson was diagnosed with acute respiratory failure sidelining him, and causing YES to replace him to continue their tour. In 2009, Anderson recovered and began singing and touring solo. In 2017, Anderson was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Yes. He currently tours with Richie Castellano and The Band Geeks, who channel the energy and the very soul of the classic YES.
