www.MMAWeekly.com/ -- Jon Jones, Daniel Cormier, Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor field questions from the press and fans from the stage at Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles, CA.
STOP CALLING ME MAYHEM! I like to watch the ufc embeddeds the first time I watch a big fight. Lol usually I can only get thru half of them before I get too hype and skip to the fight
@@Hajun554 that tends to happen when u spend ur entire career on steroids lol, dont try defending drug cheats next time and you wont have to expect getting proven wrong 😂😂
The truth of the matter is conor was much more sober serious and dedicated he had an ultimate goal wich was getting rich but now that he has done that the motivation is not the same, with his rich lifestyle he enjoyed his money partying showing his rolex on insta, drinking his whisky doing cocain while dustin kept training hard he remained actif in the ufc kept improving and he closed the gap big time, you can't be hungry when your stomach full + he is older. In short he let money make him weak
I think the funniest part about this is McGregor saying Dustin is a hillbilly from a hick town and he's sitting next to DC who's from the exact same town.
Not an expert but thought this was a way for teasing the fighters, you know, to teased their confidence or something like that. Like, at least for many people, sometimes its an awkward situation when we need to ask the others to get our turn to use the microphone, let alone doing it continuously, especially in a heated debate like in this video and doing it with people like these guys 😅
Prime Jon Jones is a once in a generation talent. Hell beat you at your own game, He can outwrestle an Olympian, he can outstrike a boxer using distance as well, he can out kick a kickboxer etc. He just so multi talented. He's an elite of the elite in every discipline. What a man. He can literally become world champion in any discipline he wants e.g. wrestling, jiu jitsu, boxing, kickboxer. How can anyone argue he's not the GOAT. Prime Jon Jones beats anyone
@@wosapzmrde4281 yeah ofc that’s why he went 29-0 in the hardest division ever and basically didn’t loose a round and was never takes down nor physically hurt and he never bled either... yeah overrated mid
Idk maybe if it was 2-1 after a well fought trilogy but being down 2-0 to a shitty person especially at the peak of their feud is hard to look pass but who knows
Look at Conor in this pre-fight build up: he's mentally sharp, quick-witted, and ruthless towards Poirier breaking him down with every chance he gets. And then look at him in the pre-fight build up against Poirier in the second fight, being friendly and hugging him and shit. He's not the same fighter he used to be, it's hard to be when you're set for life. Conor isn't a savage anymore.
This Conor was done the moment he lost. To be able to talk like that you have to be undefeated. If he hadn't lost for like 2 or 3 more fights, Conor would've reached insane heights. He should've stayed at 145, and defended, it would've been worth more than being a double champ(although I wonder if he had to move to 155 in order to get a match with Maywether), in reality, most people have prob seen Conor lose more than win If Adesanya had beaten Jan, he also would be entering that crazy space, where you just start to seem like supernatural, because not only are you winning, but you are talking hella shit beforehand and it turns out to be right, people really get caught up in that shit and their fans really start to become true fanatics
@@andmillions prolly its wrong for me to say it aint a good card. Its good, but that time it "just" good. And 4 months ago its a super card. But today dc retired
EVERY line conor said has been played over and over through the years. This was a very entertaining press conference. Definitely one for the history books.
I never saw any of their interactions before the hatred . Jon picked up that chair and i thought here we go . And then he said just kidding and I was like what is this sorcery
@@anonymousbrowsing2909 lol Jon seemed under the influence, which is why he was probably so nice. Also he wore shades this press conference which he usually doesn’t do haha
The best part about this whole thing is how DC dies laughing every time Conor starts talking about Dustin being from the backass of nowhere when DC and Dustin are from the exact same town in Lousiana. Conor had no clue DC was from there but DC thought Conor was hilarious either way.
Who is here after Conors trilogy with Dustin?. Man how times have changed and how Conor has fallen. He was special here. Looked like Dustin would never even touch Conors level and then he whoops him twice in the future
He didn’t whoop him twice. He whooped him once. Connor broke his leg. Connor would best that hillbilly just wait. Matter fact I predict Connor gets the belt back soon.
this is a beautiful video no clue when I clicked on this video I was getting both the amazing rivalry of dc and jones.. but also the notorious one in early stages.. absolutely love it hidden gem here
RobinBobbin Conor is hilarious but how are you gunna quote one of the few things he said that was just a normal statement and not ment to be funny as an example? "his chin is deteriorating"...? that's funny to you? do you not know what deteriorating means? are you entertained every time someone says a word that consists of more than two syllables??.... "a gust of wind and he does the chicken dance" lol
Watching these press conferences rn and seeing Conor talking like that and the way he look so confident and it feels like he’s on a whole another universe than these fighters. It’s so crazy!
@@rogerj21 people sleeping on conor after khabib loss is sick..they just don't understand it took best lightweight to beat conor and imo he is far superior than likes of gaethje ferguson and porier
@@viveknegi223 you typed for 1000 years dude...i'd go far than that...Guessing that Conor wanted to fight Khabib that bad cause he knows something that gonna helping him beating Khabib...
To be fair this is Jon Jones the greatest fighter of all time during his prime and DC who was undefeated and literally throwing grown ass men into the air like a grizzly bear
@MR BIGCHEST Lol. Reyes beat his ass off the roids, Gus beat his ass of the roids and Thiago Santos beat his ass with no legs. You cant deny he lost at least one of them.
This was so fun to watch even 3 years later and actually got excited to rewatch the fight. Quote of this get together was "So don't think you're gonna kick me in the head with your left leg" 😅.
12:56-13:08 the time dc and jon not a true enemy when jon wanna throw chair and dc said there's cop and the n jon see the cop and they laugh together is the funniest part for me
People get mad at a confidence in a person and they hate when a confident person can actually back up what they say Jon Bones Jones is one of the greatest of all time
Just love the way Daniel looks at Connor with some kind of amusement but at the time amazement at how he presents himself and speaks... its hilarious 😂
Jones was undefeated here and even today. His “only loss” was a disqualification due to 12 to 6 elbows. He shoulda got a warning but the ref was an amateur lol
