jon pall sigmarsson He was the strongest fastest man ever with the complete physique The Muhammad Ali of strongman. SONGS 1) SASHA REMIX CUT ME DOWN 2) Underworld Olympics 2012 The complete package
I watched him blow up an 80's rubber bedheater... thick rubber.. it was about 9"by4" bag of water to warm the feet.. it exploded when that balloon was about a yard in diameter.. when I was 5 years old.. he did it for the crowd! Was awesome!! Literally and metaphorically. 👊🐶🍀🐸🍀💜🌍💜👒🎩🌠
Loved him! Greatest entertainer in strongman history!! But in no way greatest strongman there's been stronger before and since. But watching in his prime years was definitely the most fun.
The only guy who could really make Kaz look human he did that one event vs Geoff Capes and Kazmier in Scotland and completed some events that no one else even got 1\3rd the way unbelievable
How can a guy who used steroids be regarded as the best ever? Everything he "accomplished" has to have an asterisk next to it. I get that Jon Pall was charismatic and all, but he still juiced. The guy who should be a little pissed is strongman, Geoff Cape, who was runner-up to Jon Pall multiple times in the 80s. Capes' power came naturally, hard work in the gym, and he did it clean. JMO
@@noispoi true or not is not really relevant to your question though. You asked why people think he died while doing deadlifts. And well. Because wikipedia said so. We didnt know him. Im not from Iceland. Literally my only source of information about his death is your comment here on youtube and his article on wikipedia. Why would anyone think anything else? Wikipedia probably has more truth than comments on youtube.
There is nothing greater than dying doing what you love.... I hope I may pass with honor like him. Thank you for your Jon Pall videos they bring up much emotions.
Look at what these old strongman had to go through. And look at the Equipments and all the crap they have now. Old school was more hardcore imo. Just imagine a prime bill kazmier now
I miss you so much, Jon Pall!! My Hero when i was a kid and now my Inspiration!!! I´am a strongman too now for you!!! THANKS GRATEFUL AND GREAT MAN!!! THIS VIDEO TOOK ME THE TEARS!!! :´(
I mean clearly the other events are safe as houses. But when you're just a lonely truck driver trying to keep your kid the world is the most dangerous. *cue Over the Top theme*
People like mohhamed Ali like brue Lee like Michael Jackson like tyson like siggmarson thses are and always be legends they born once in thousands of years hats off n salutetojon Paul siggmarson
I never knew Jon cut down to sub 9% bf for bodybuilding that shows again just how disciplined he was. Looking very cut and symmetrical especially for a world class strength athlete. Larry looked phenomenal but Jon looked like a seasoned ifbb pro
can remember him growing up as a kid Geoff capes was my favourite cuz he's from UK but loves Jon pall aswell great video great tribute to a legend..... 💪 💪
I whole heartedly disagree Kaz is the greatest strongman ever anytime an organization constructs a way to keep you from competing in their competition outside of that athlete cheating your head and shoulders above everyone else in 1982 Kaz beat Geoff capes by nearly 28 points and capes was in 2nd place and WSM was started by the English and they not only refused to invite him to the '83 WSM they moved it from the states to England
Hands down the GOAT.... . Most people who followed him dont even know just how many competitions he was in, how many he won. In addition, when he showed up at the one off pure strength and won 9/10 i believe to take it..looking at how huge he was for that competition should also recognize he won most of his titles much smaller.. If he concentrated solely on strongman, forgot about bodybuilding comps...holy crap!
Ya know, they always say that Jon Pall lacked the brute or raw strength and power of say like a Kaz, or an OD Wilson, or even a Jamie Reeves. That may be the case, it's a very reasonable argument. But even so, JPS was insanely strong in his day. Elite, world class level strength for his era. And in the 1987 Pure Strength Contest, he came in at over 300 pounds. At that contest, I don't think there was a man on earth that was stronger than him.
