Everyone here bashing her for saying "fake news" is so incredibly dense...anyone who actually watched The Daily Show would know that that's what Stewart and his team themselves called the show, and that's how they sold it. It was an appreciative nod to his legacy.

I like Jon Stewart. I enjoyed his show but was never envious of his life style from his fame. Now however, I am. The freedom that goes along with walking away must be the greatest feeling.. Bravo to you Jon and tracy.

jon stewart and chappelle, hmm all the real guys in hollywood end up on farms lol i guess it could be worse. seeing as how a lot of actors/musicians/etc. end up in rehab/ dead/ crazy/ full of themselves/ etc. But honestly, i can see why hollywood and that industry and having to watch faux news for the show would drive you crazy!!!!!!...Good for you, Jon. i wish you and your wife and family, etc. all the happiness in the world! thank you for all the laughs. I can understand why Jon would feel burnt out after swimming in the sewers of Fox "News" for long but I dont think he truly understands how important he is. I wish someone tells him that he doesnt have to come out of full retirement. I'm sure if he wanted to he could easily do a biweekly or even monthly segment on Stephen's show. Holy fuck, the commenters behind these most up-voted comments are dense. Jon Stewart referred to himself as a fake newsman all the time and would call what he did fake news frequently. The host of this show called his desk a "fake news desk" not because she was diminishing Jon's work, but because she was aware of the way Jon referred to himself and what he did. It was a friendly and knowing joke/reference that was a way for the host (or, rather, her writers) to express that they knew about Jon and what he did.

"Fake news.." as a label for his show is so disrespectful after looking at his realistic yet funny commentary on daily events. We will look back at him as a legend of news and talk show entertainment.

Yeesh guys, the 'fake news desk' wasn't said with malicious intent and even Jon Stewart called it a fake news desk. Also what an awesome beard he's growing. He looks really happy with his family and farm.
