I'm about 5 years younger than you and kept most of my childhood stuff. Turns out it's not that valuable. With rare exceptions, most post 1965 comics aren't worth much because people had already started collecting and storing them is a serious way. My older cousin gave me his collection from the mid to late '60s. Unfortunately his favorites were Westerns and WWII comics which are worth almost nothing. Even the Action and Superman issues he had are worth no more than $5 each. If he had been into Marvel superheroes at that time, the same collection would be worth thousands. Still I take care of it all and look through them on occasion for fun.

Jonah Hex: The Two Gun Mojo was based on a mini series by DC’s Vertigo imprint in the mid 90’s.

And now in 'Christopher Robin' he's the voice of Pooh AND Tigger. I did not see that one coming.

I know, Jim does an awesome cowboy tone. Loved it since his day in Moo Mesa

I originally thought it was the same actor.

My guess is that they gave him to a writer, producer or director that didn't know what to do with him.

@@jonathanlarsson4608 problem is, Jimmy Hayward is a great animator, but sucks at directing when he directed Jonah Hex. The movie was so bad cause Jonah Hex can talk to the dead, the plot is nonsensical, don’t get me started on Megan Fox’s character.

@@JakeTheComicBookDude Yeah, I've seen the original character that Megan Fox's character is based on, and lets just say, they glossed over plenty of things. Overall, it feels like the producers didn't want to tell a plain western, which is basically what Jonah Hex is at its core. Sure, there's crossovers with other DC characters and time travel in the comics, but Ghost Rider powers and glowing orbs was not.

Aztek had his own title which was pretty cool but yeah the vast majority of comics feature a straight, white man as the lead so not really "anti-white"

This story is more anti-Western. Just about everyone Hex meets is murderous and corrupt.
