I can't even begin to imagine how overwhelming, intense and emotional this whole thing is for JVN but I sincerely hope that on the other side, this beautiful soul becomes so immensely empowered and strengthened to fight for awareness, for the disempowered and the marginalised (who are going through the same fight), and for a cure ✊

the treatment for HIV/AIDS that is here works and people can live normal long happy lives, its just awareness and accessibility prevent so many from getting it, and thats what needs to change

@@DADT767 Thank you for checking...I've been using "he," as that seems to be how the media has referred to him. I got yelled at on another JVN vid for saying that. But I thought I had read he/him, while identifying as non-binary.
@@Kinikia95 why is it complicated? If you call a baby her and the parent said it's a boy you correct the pronouns immediately and it is the same with trans and non binary person. Refusing to do something because you are not accustomed to doing it is not easier than respecting a person's identity with the pronouns of their choice
@DaniaThomas Because it's difficult to know what someone would want based on visual cues. If they have a full beard there is a natural tendency to say "he". People were making positive comments but someone always has to come out and try to correct them.
