I loved his book. I struggle with alcohol depedancy. It's not an every day occurrence and I can take weeks off but I know I lean on it unhealthily at times and it's not good. I don't know if I have to quit in order to be loveable or are addicts worthy of love despite their struggles or can they only expect love when they are better? Because if so this leaves people I a state of believing they are un loveable and when you feel unlovable in a world where you are sold love as a goal for happiness it's really hard and can make you want to check out of a painful reality by drugs or alcohol.

It’s so sad that our society rewards us and glorifies risky lifestyle when most us are young, only then to pay the price for those poor choices until death. I wish we could simply feel accepted just the way we are, by implementing unconditional love and care towards one another. I’ve lived risk free life, but not my partner, who gave me herpes for life! Which shortens my lifespan by over a decade! Like, WТF!
