I miss Jonathan Winters so much! He was hilarious!!

We used to get the Dean Martin show down here in Australia and my favourites were always those with Jonathan. Watching these old shows on YT makes me feel so nostalgic. Great stuff....the likes of which we will never see again.

Pure comic genius. We miss you, Jonathan.

He was the Master of Comedy. So much so, even Robin Williams thought he was the funniest man alive. And Robin was his best friend too!

Winters was a walking tour da force. That French like meaning unique, one of a kind and always cracking up Dean, all celebrities around him and Americans. He was unpredictable, unapologetic, totally improvisational. No scripts or cue cards for Johnathan. Carson loved him too. 😅

To me he was always one no three steps ahead of robin williams when it came to laughs and true and absolute improvisation.

Dean Martin never rehearsed. He spent most of his time on the golf course and then would come in on Sunday and tape the show.

I heard he watched a run through from his dressing room before the taping. Producer Greg Garrison would stand in for him during the week's rehearsals.
