So glad I discovered this one-in-a-million artist, even if it was after his passing. I continue to take great joy in the work he left behind though there is always a tiny bit of sorrow in the background as I take in a performance. I think a part of it is the knowledge that there will be no new music or dance to look forward to him. What he has done is what is done and that is it. And it is enough. Soar with the angels, Jonghyun!

When you said "what he has done is what is done and that is it" I connected it to how I got my ears pierced (second piercings) the same day he left us but I didn't know him back then and the date is such a big coincidence. A few months later I came to know about what happened and when I saw the date I just started crying because it's like, the hole I made in my ears represents the event and I know both events have nothing to do with eachother but for me there's the connection. Because my ear piercing is done, the hole is there, and he left, the hole is there, you know?

Agreed! I too only discovered him after his passing and while there will of course always be this tinge of sadness and indescribable emptiness when we watch his performances, I still want to enjoy them to the best of my ability and remember Jonghyun as the precious individual he is. He's truly a once-in-a-lifetime artist, it'll be such a pity to miss out on him💙

Now who’s going to sing your songs? Who’s going to sound like you? There are so many people on this earth and we could only love just so much. But please know, even if we can’t show you how much we love you everyday, you will always be loved. We are so sorry for your broken heart. It is selfish to say if only we could turn back time. It’s true now there are a lot of regrets. We should’ve loved more and prove more even if it’s going to be tough. A life that inspired so many and loved by so many, in a moment was taken away by the thoughts that were buried too deep for too long. Jonghyun, you did well. You can let go now, please Rest In Peace. Jonghyun was the reason I got into K-Pop, and he still is my "ultimate bias" ever. I feel so devastated that he's not with us anymore. Such a talented artist, with such a big heart. The world was a better place with him in it. May he rest in peace.

Jonghyun grew up into a man and i just can't... his voice is so stable, way better than most of the singers in the world. yes the world. He never sings false, maybe at their debut but that would be excused since it was the start, now they'r in the middle, or no, lets say still at the start and he can still learn enough throughout his life, but dang... he's so amazing, and i hope he knows. When i didn't know shinee that good yet, and only saw a few episode from Hello Baby i really thought bad about jonghyun because of his behavior there but i guess that just makes him Jonghyun and i wouldn't wish for him to change because of what i think of his flaws. Flaws make people beautiful and different and just the fact that Jonghyun is actually a real crybaby and caring person, but also strong and kindhearted just makes me love him more

+Leepingu Jonghyun used to have problems focusing, and it caused him to miss some notes here and there. That was when SHINee was first starting out. Nowadays, though, I never hear him hit a bad note, unless he's obviously exhausted. The only Shinee singer who's more consistent about his pitch is Key (I can count on my hand how many times he's been out of tune), but Key doesn't have Jonghyun's range or power. So there's that.

just curious. what behaviour in hello baby are you referring to? he was acting a little like an adorable spoilt brat in the beginning but towards the end he showed his true colours - caring, lovable, fun, naughty etc. just an ordinary nice guy with some forgivable flaws.. in my opinion. if I can describe him in two words. he's street smart. he knows how to carry himself in different situations well.

+Leepingu Agree! Been his fan since his debut. I feel... He's somewhat misunderstood by those who don't know him well. I appreciate the fact that he's being himself as much as he can in the public eye. Not easy to be an idol in SK. I respect him very much for his hard work and focus . whatever he said he wants to be 8yrs ago, he's achieved.

I keep saying he's an Asian Prince. I can see so many similarities between them, even Jonghyun's look reminds me sometimes of Prince's stylizations. They both can operate with their voices so easily from the lowest sounds to the highest. I could say that sometimes even their movements are similar. They are both amazing artists.

Rachel Kirk still have this song in my 📲 for a longtime = a Masterpiece --> for anybody/everybody watch J.H MV's this over here ain't no Idol its a LEGEND ( seeing (them) from way back 2008, til now) so sad he left us so very soon. Can't imagine how deep his pain/hurt was from the inside, didn't expect this to happen - even some of us knew he was struggling with (yall know). From now its only the Beautiful Memories of J.H x SHINEE 2GETHER. What ever happen with Shinee 4 I know we Shawols are here 2 Support them in many ways. His performances are perfect. Jonghyun did a perfect job in everything he did. His music will live forever, a poet artist makes me wish I was Korean.

Is a really great artist! His voice is wonderful, very handsome, also a king of music & composers He wrote and composed *juliette* himself in one night when he was only 18 years old !! He is a perfect singer

He didn't compose Juliette, SM bought this song .It was released by Corbin Bleu before SHINee did and it is called Deal With It.And yes Jjong is a phenomenal artist but please give credit where credit is due. :)

Yes, he wrote the song with his group member, BUT HE SANG IT/PERFORMED IT TO PERFECTION HERE, LIKE HIS OTHER 5 SOLOS. HE SANG "GLOOMY CLOCK" SAME DAY OMG JONGHYUN'S WAS AWESOME. WHAT PERFECT PERFORMER. HIS MUSIC WILL LIVE FOREVER. LOVE YOU JONGHYUN. USA LOVES YOUR MUSIC

So incredibly awesome. I love that the back up singers and band were live, too, infusing it with such freshness and immediacy. Jonghyun just commanded that stage like a boss!
