i remember everyone was saying that Shinee was the only SM group to never lose a member, and the members themselves talking about how they'll be together forever because no one wanted to leave... It's just so sad that this was how the group lost one of their own.

I'm not someone who cries over idols, but I get so emotional over Jonghyun. I usually write long paragraphs spilling how I feel and how the incident left me, but ill make this one short. Maybe you who's reading this feels the same way. I apologize if its too long. I just feel like I need to get my feelings out. ~Almost 8 months later. Wow. I cant believe it. I don't want to believe it. Im still in denial. Everyday. I always think about you, Jonghyun. Whenever I run into a picture of you smiling, a video of you goofing around, or you performing, I burst into tears. Youre someone who made a big impact on my life. You and shinee. I still look up to you. Always. You were someone who fought depression to the best of your ability. I myself struggle with it. But You taught me a lessen. To keep going. Even though you couldnt, I will, we all will, for you. I don't want to let you down, but I cant promise anything. I will continue to listen to shinee and your music. He IS perfect. Continue maintaining the present tense. He's not dead. He never was, never will. Talk about the funny moments with the other boys, talk about the two times Yoogeun hurt him in the not-to-be-hit area, and Jjong taking about getting married. Talk about how charming he's in SNL Korea, and how happy he looks when he performs on the stage. Talk about how jealous he said he'd get if his noona got a boyfriend. Talk about his best moments and keep cracking jokes about how silly and clumsy he is. Jonghyun is very much alive as long as you keep him alive. Please don't kill him with the past tense, keep him alive there.

True story: When I heard the news, the night before I couldn't sleep so I stayed up listening to SHINee's Replay and their other older songs. The next day, I was at an event called Quiz Bowl with my friends. I was having a fun time. My sister, who introduced me to SHINee, texted me the news and I couldn't believe it. SHINee changed my life for the better and I can't believe while I was struggling with my mental health, so was Jonghyun. Even that night I couldn't sleep because of my anxiety. I apologize, Jonghyun. You did so well and I hope you're free now. Thank you.

Same the night before I couldn't sleep I didn't know why, I was pretty anxious for no reason and I saw the news of his death later my birthday was 2 days after. Since then I'm suffering from severe depression with suicidal thoughts... I was already depressed but it worsened.

😢😢 really so sad just listen to his songs this year in february and april truelly talented, attractive .He should have come to South africa and take a break in our hot weather its good for vitamin D helps with depression safari grass bushland and nobody had to know .He needed a break from everything 😢.If only hos therapist could have told him that.Take some antidepressants it help not too much for the seasonal depression.Check out his hormones and thyroid also cause depression being overworked ,fatigue espescially that age it starts until age 39 .Cause we grow weary and tired and become stressed our minds and body too much pressure in that industry not rest.😢 he just needed a break for 3 or 4 yrs to relax really it took a toll on him.

I thought i could finally accept the passing of you, but watching this video made me realised how much you have done for your dream and for us, SHAWOLS. Watching this video made me realised that i am still not ready to let you go. In the end, i still have to because what was done can never be undone. End of a Day is a song I have found myself listening to a lot since Jonghyun died. I'm glad they used it first here. It hurts a lot to think about how much he must have struggled. I was extremely depressed in high school and was able to overcome it with an amazing counselor who really cared for me and it destroys me to think about Jonghyun seeking the same kind of help and not being lucky enough to find it. Thinking of him not knowing what else to do brings me to tears. I wish he were here to celebrate New Year's Day. And above all I hope that any of his colleagues who share his depression seek help and solidarity with each other and know that they aren't alone.

There's not a day that I go without thinking about him. I miss you, Jonghyun. I love you, Jonghyun. You are happy now and that's all we wanted ,for you to be happy and we got that. We miss you so much. You are not here physically but mentally and you are still in our hearts. I was broken to hear that news on the 18th of December because I was at a friend's house and it was 3pm and me and her were talking about depression because she told me she had it then that news came up and my face and limbs just dropped and i could feel tears coming down my face and she asked what was wrong and I burst out in tears then she came and hugged me and I showed her my phone and she comforted me. Me and her hardly knew him especially her because she's not a big fan but she understood because shinee was the first ever kpop group I encountered and I've had depression since his death and my father often joked about it and I would go cry in my room repeatedly hitting my bed but no one would come and see me only 2 of my friends cried but didn't have the same pain I did as seen as he was in the first kpop group I saw. I'm still in pain till this day and I'll never stop thinking about him. I often skip past the videos or pictures of him so I don't cry but then I start to feel horrid and forget his face so I start to watch and cry and have horrid thoughts. Kim Jonghyun, I love you and miss you and nothing will stop it. Love from a shawol.💙💕❤👑

When I got into SHINee 7 years ago, I promised to go to one of their concerts and to see all the members performing so passionately. I read on Facebook it's sad to feel that your idol doesn't know you exist but it's worst feeling when you know your idol doesn't exist anymore.... we will be so lonely to not be able to listen to his voice, look at his smiling eyes but out of it all we were blessed to have Jonghyun and his life his feelings let us remember it all! You are right...😭😭😭😭😭 It hurts me so much that Jonghyun thought there is no person in the world who would want to know him the real 💔, that no one could comfort him though he was the one who was comforting and cheering up everyone and he was the one who needed support the most!.. What monsters hurt him?... You people, who was hurting him... you, because of who he suffered so much.. you will regret someday.. God will revenge for Jonghyun! Why I feel regrets that I was not born in Korea and couldn't become his best friend?.. Because he is... was 😭 💔 .. such a perfect human being! With his voice, his life in general, he was such a support like no one for me.. His voice, smile, his existence always was giving me strength... But the fact.. he was hurting so much that he couldn't stand that pain anymore rip my broken heart💔 even more.. Before I thought that the tragedy is when your favorite group disbands... But I was so wrong! The tragedy is when you loose your ultimate bias like that and realise that you are breathing and he is not... That your every breath, every beat of your heart runs down to his days.. I don't want to breathe... We are the same age.. He was bort in the begining of 90 and I at the end... Jonghyun supposed to be older from me the whole life! 😭 He supposed to be my oppa for a lifetime!😭 The fact I will get older without him hurts me... I wish I could give my life to him.. Save him... It still hurts, and I feel like it'll keep hurting. Jonghyun had such a beautiful soul and voice, that his absence left a void in many people's life. It pains me, but I hope that he is at peace because that's all I can do now. He had been hurting so much and for so long, he pushed himself until he broke and couldn't walk any further. I found out about shinee around 11-12 months ago, right before he died, so I don’t feel like I deserve to cry over him, because I didn’t go through nearly as much pain as some of you did.... either way, I hope he’s doing well in heaven 💕 one day we will meet him in heaven, I can just feel it.. I miss you jjong 💖 no one deserves to suffer through depression like this.. I know how much it hurts and to think that he didn’t get help for it blows my mind.

To all shawols out there that are sad cause they didnt got a chance to meet jonghyun I just wanna say, You will meet him someday,not in this world but in heaven,in heaven where his happy,where he doesn't feel pain anymore...... Don't be sad thinking you will never see him in person,cause I know u will meet him in a more happy place called heaven......At least when the time you'll meet him all he could feel is being with you guys not the pain he suffered when he was still here.......your gonna meet him when he is already happy...... You can miss him but you cant lose hope about not meeting him cause you will...... I'm not a fan of shinee but it hurts me,cause I know the feeling of being a fan and just imagining them disappear in this world is sad.....but one thing that isn't sad is them going to heaven......
