hee has no idea the talent he has. hopefully he has the support around him to get his life back to where he belongs, which for me, is in my ears at full blast, sending chills down the back of my neck. simply amazing.
Why dislike this? Are you serious? Sorry, but this is one of those times where I really don't understand people's personal opinions on music. I have acknowledged that people have different tastes in music, but seriously.... You can't NOT like this guy! He's flipping fantastic and his lyrics actually have meaning in them.
Oh my lord. His voice is so amazing. For this to be live, is rather a big surprise, because it sounds, basically the same as the recording. Amazing. [:
@superm4rk i saw Emarosa the just last friday for warped on my birthday and i can say that Jonny Craig is absolutely amazing live. when he sang 'the past should stay dead' it was the best thing ever. i would love to hear his solo album live. if you havent saw Jonny live i suggest you do. after seeing all the bands at warped and Emarosa wasnt one of my favorites then since anything Jonny has done has instantly because a favorite for me.
I have watched probably all of his live videos on youtube, and this is by far the best. In some of the other videos he has always been out of tune some times and i always guessed it was because he couldn't hear himself sing over the guitars and drums. How good it feels to find out that i was right about that :D His singing is out of this world, and the two people who pressed the dislike button either can't read, are just too dumb to figure out what "thumbs down" means OR they listen to rap.
@khunteman09. They are speaking about Dallas Green, who is a guitarist of Alexisonfire and who plays under the alias of City and Colour. He is DEFINITELY worth the listen, one of my favorite artists.
@DazedMMJ87 Vibrato? It's a technique musicians use to make a vibration like sound. It's hard to master in vocals, but once you get it down it comes naturally.
@Adoseofapathy haha thats because hes the guitarist for tides of man and they just finished an entire set before jonny. they were his backing band on this tour. so they pretty much played 2 sets a night. id be sweating too. haha.
That nigga has more soul in his voice than half the BLACK R&B singers in the industry!.. nigga gets madd props! AND he does it all with that grimey ass mullet!! LMFAO! Too Real!
@benjaminnieves11 Are you sure? Because I listened to the song over and over and over again, and while it does talk about the girl's pregnancy as a mistake, he says "Maybe one day she will know my name", possibly referring to him wanting to meet the daughter someday.
Hey Jonny Craig Fans, this song is freaking amazing, the depth and emotional complexity really makes it an impacting song. Well inspired by jonny's amazingness i decided to try and cover this beautiful masterpiece. So i need you guys to check out my cover on my page and let me know if i did the cover any justice or just massacred it.
He's not an arsehole in person, met him about a year ago and he was pretty sound - granted that was probably because my brother bought him a whiskey, and he was sniffing something off the bar top - but still, he had a picture with us and chilled with us. :)
@acesintheirplaces he still draws big crowds in venues all over the country, there is no need for him to be mainstream, maybe one day it will happen, but im not sure if he himself even wants that.
