howdy Who the fuck are you to announce when the unfortunate shit happens in his life. He didn’t say “It’ll never happen again” in fact said when/if it does happen, I’ll come back stronger: Just cause you might not be physically addicted struggling with drugs doesn’t mean that there isnt some fucked up shit about you and your life that’s equally as bad or if not worse. Would you want assholes like yourself to make public announcements about you whenever you decide to do whatever fucked up shit you do. And once, who in the actual fuck do you think are doing that?
I was at this show. I have heard about some of the shitty things this guy has done like pretending to sell a laptop to multiple people and just stealing their money. It's fucked up, I've had shit stolen from me before by junkies plenty of times. Gotta give this guy props for knowing how to use this demeanor and spin it into a positive thing. It's kinda fucked up but it something to learn from. People are shallow and selfish and if you are a talented, charismatic guy like him people aren't going to care about the poor saps who got money stolen.. they are just pretty much pawns to this guys mystique. Still love this dudes voice and music but he really should actually pay those people back... which I'm sure he hasn't. Until then his apology and well-scripted emotional speech doesn't really mean shit except it makes narcissistic people who haven't personally been affected by drug abuse in their own lives see it as an alluring celebrity story.
Sean Parrish I've only ever known the story of his narcissism and drug addiction. I never hated him for it it just sucked to hear someone that talented was like that. but addiction is real. It's a mental and physical battle. have you been through addiction personally or within your family? I have. and because of that experimence all I can really do is take what he says for face value, admire his talent and live my life. getting hung up on extrapolating this and that and what he said and she said doesn't do you any good.
Sean Parrish and I've also had my laptop stolen before.. during finals week and it wasn't even paid off. so yeah I know how much that sucks too. but life sometimes sucks. and sometimes it's incredibly amazing too.
It would take quite a long time to really explain my entire situation and how drug abuse has effected my life. But I guess I can try to condense it. For a period of 8 to 10 years I was a very heavy user of cannabis and any psychedelic or random powder sold as "molly" that I could get my hands on. Around 2010 I had a very sudden and unexpected experience where I bought a number of blotters from the traveling drug store that is the band Phish. I suddenly got an incredibly severe and piercing migraine that night. For a period of about 9 months I continued to smoke weed even though every time I smoked it caused that same area where I had the migraine to flare with intense pain. I then got arrested for possession of methamphetamine(which was sold to me as ketamine) and being put on probation made me worried about being expelled from college and caused me to finally be able to get sober. After I got off probation I tried smoking weed again but apparently whatever those little pieces of paper did to my brain was permanent and even to this day I still can't smoke weed. Of course I continued to be a fucking idiot with my health and at a local festival like a year later I bought some 2-cb and this substance that looked like glass shards that was sold to me as molly(which was probably fucking bath salts). Snorted a ton of that stuff and ate some 2-cb capsules and had a great time. So I felt like I was in the clear using other substances, just staying clear from weed. Well a few weeks later I tried to eat a 2-cb capsule again and had a fucking terrifying reaction. I felt like a plastic encasement was crushing my skull and a toxin was just rushing up from my chest for like 5-6 hours straight. For the year after that I suffered from very severe panic attacks and bouts of tremors, horrid insomnia. I don't even have the appropriate vernacular to describe the kinds of very painful experiences I had during that period. I spent over $6000 on MRI's, neurologists, and psychiatrists who all could find nothing wrong with me. Was prescribed shit medication that did nothing for me at all. And so 2 years later my brother who I live with had gotten heavily addicted to heroin and crack. Him and his girlfriend began stealing things around the house. Robbed my parents and sold all their jewelry. I got a text one morning sitting in class from my brother telling me not to call the cops but he just broke into my room and stole thousands of dollars worth of music equipment. I rushed home to find him sitting there with a fucking gun he stole from my dad. I guess he figured if he pointed a gun at my face that would scare me from calling the police. Needless to say that experience was was pretty much the quintessential 'getting fucked over by a junkie' experience. So perhaps even worse than being addicted to heroin I never got a chance to even go down that path because of whatever fucking neurological damage I had accrued from ingesting random chemicals from dreadlocked hippies at jam band shows. It is such a fucked up feeling. My brother is actually a talented guitarist. He is currently writing music that he wants me to play bass for since we have played in a number of bands together as teenagers. Though talented, he is a narcissistic, unemployed, bratty heroin addicted manchild with an insufferably irritable personality. I don't know Jonny Craig obviously. All I know about the laptop fiasco was what I read online about it. I wouldn't doubt this happened. I would say I know how addiction changes people but my brother was never particularly a moral person.. He was always quite prone to lashing out and throwing tantrums when he doesn't get his way. This is just my first hand experience with seeing my twin brother go down that path. I also have suspicions that my mother as well is addicted to harder substances. She actually was the one who enabled me to have a steady source of weed to smoke daily as a teenager. Blegh it's all such a fucked up situation it's like some twisted novel how fucked things are in my life. I said I was going to condense this but it really would be impossible to tell my experiences with drug abuse, addiction, and the vices that follow from them without going into detail. Doubt you'll want to read through all this but if you did hope it will enlighten you to be smart about what you put in your body and seek help and financial stability at as young an age as possible so you aren't stuck with a family full of toxic, deranged addicts. The most important thing you have in life is your health. I would give anything to be able to go back in time and prevent myself from ever beginning to experiment with substances that would later eventually destroy my health and psychological well-being. I typically rant my story at people who don't understand the gravity of what I'm saying. Still to this day when I turn down a bowl or blunt that someone is passing me I can't even begin to try to explain any of this without them feeling like I am bullshitting or out of my mind. If you take anything away from this rant just remember to use test kits on any unknown substance you plan to put in your body. There are some dangerous fucking chemicals like 25I-nbome, 2c-b, 2c-i, etc being sold under the guise of other names. People going to EDM shows are dying overdosing on blotters they think are LSD but turn out to be a research chemical. Be fucking smart and don't let yourself be taken advantage of. I don't give a shit if Jeffrey Dahmer was a flute virtuoso.. Being talented does not absolve you of doing wrong. Unfortunately we live in a society where certain wrong actions are admired as it makes you seem hard or worldly. That's the kind of fucking world we live in. I
Everyone says he's an asshole, but I was at a show about a year ago, a drunk girl tried to get on stage with him his entire set. She was extremely annoying...however she finally made her way on stage... the bouncer tried to remove her and jonny said no. He let this girl dance with him on stage for an entire song and made her night.
Like he said, he's human. I am and will remain a fan of Jonny. No one is perfect everyone makes mistakes small and big. People need to worry about bettering themselves as human beings and building people up rather than judging others. Point blank.

People say this hasn't aged well but in reality it has. After hearing everything Taylor said once I saw Jonny and this guy have a heart to heart and fist pump the guy I began to fall for his manipulation for just a split second. Imagine having that on a nearly daily basis while on top of dating him and being in love with him? Imagine how hard it must be to see this supposed good side of him time and time again and before you know it you are attached to this false side. That is the power of manipulation and just watching this made me feel that and felt similar to various bad girls I've had romantic episodes with that I was manipulated by to.

You know what? Nobody is perfect. Especially addicts. But at least you can see that he's really fucking trying to get his shit together and really trying to make it up to the fans. I personally love and adore him as a musician and I applaud him as a human being. He's trying. That's all that matters.

I don't know if Jonny is clean now but when this happened he was still not clean and for him to lie and push this bullshit on stage for his fans sucks but he was a junkie and thats what is expected of junkies, to lie and only own up to their past problems. The sad part in this video is his fan's cheering him on as he acts like every other junkie that still uses and acts like they're not addicted. His fans are not helping by empowering him.
Was this in Charlotte at the DGD 10 year tour? I was there I think and watched this. Problem was, earlier I ALSO watched him getting blasted in the restroom, so you can imagine my reaction to all this bs.

I don't understand why jonny seems to feel the need to talk about his life like that, that should not be the interest of anyone, I care about his music, not his god damn life. He has wronged people okay, then just let him sing about it and don't take 5 min of a show, to TALK about it.
because there is a huge portion of his "fanbase" who gives him shit constantly. And his fanbase isn't huge. It's a bit more intimate. He can't really hide behind a shit ton of fans who support blindly like all-stars can. So when he gets called on shit enough, he has to address it in some manner.
ever been to a small town? everyone knows everyone's business. SImilar to having a small fanbase. It's more intimate. Ever been to a small show before? less than 30 people in the room? Super intimate, the band is there playing for you. So it's a bit harder to hide from shittalk in those situations

Why "ah poo!!" ? :p french alps is a beautiful place to live and full of nice person from every country! :D Sadly i don't like slaves music enough to go and see them, i'm affraid i won't enjoy it like i could have if he had stayed with DGD or Emarosa ^^
