Haha the exact moment he stopped giving a fuck about acting haha, now he competes with Bruce Willis for who can sleep through movies The wookies not being subtitled is SUCH a Lucas decision though haha, he's fucking clueless Somehow managing to foreshadow the shitshow of the prequels It's funny how like only 2/9 of the star wars films are actually great films Jedi is still classic and fun, but started to get janky I'm totally with RLM and Plinkett on how terribly the prequels are edited, written, acted and shot, but the memes and shlock makes them still better than last jedi, which somehow managed to be more annoying and pointless than attack of the clones, and at least that actually had plot points in it, skywalkers a total ADD clusterfuck Most of the games are shit besides rogue squadron, tie fighter, fallen order & Kotor Mandalorians the only quality thing in ages And now that the dude bros have taken it over from the nerds into a global franchise it's just a joke now

The cartoon segment of this was the only part Lucas was happy with, he even included it as a bonus on the blu-ray set and would rehire the animation studio for the Droids and Ewoks cartoons, even the late Don Francks (of shows like X-Men TAS and movies like Rock and Rule and My Bloody Valentine) was brought back to voice Boba again.

I'm pretty sure it would have happened anyway. The ideas were already a thing before or during production, right? Could have been implemented elsewhere if not the Holiday Special.

Boba was in the OT though...

That's not true. Episode V was filmed simultaneously to this atrocity here and they put Boba in it as a kind of "sneak peak" at The Empire Strikes Back. But Boba would have been in the film anyways.
