Had a conversation with the homie Doc Whisper back in the day when he said he felt like an old washed up rapper that should just stop doing music. I told him something that someone once told me.
“You don’t lose your skills, you just turn into Yoda.”
Doc loved that concept and wanted to turn it into a song. He made a beat for it and shared it with me. We never completed the project but after he passed I linked up with AeroK and Notiz for a collab over that Yoda beat. The homies aren’t into Star Wars so I kept it light with the Star Wars bars for that project.
I’m not a real Star Wars head either, but I know enough about the movies to write something a little more focused so I decided to revisit this project.
