They never had any intent on being Fair ... they had access to the same video evidence before making their ruling ... it appears the Olmpics is getting a little to brown for a lot of folks
They tried to pull off an affirmative action and discrimination against two Romanian gymnasts in order to have a fake "all black" podium. Justice was done, thank God! (Almost justice, because in reality, the other Romanian should have won bronze, because she was unfairly punished for so called "stepping out of bounds" when the video clearly shows she didn't!
@@vladchiriac2101the Romanians were not contesting the score that Chiles got , they were contesting the timing of the inquiry, the two Romanian gymnasts scores were 13.700 and Chiles 13.666 before the score adjustments due to judges not accounting for the difficulty of Chiles performance, which they corrected and gave her a score of 13.7600 putting her in 3rd , at the very least would have been a 3 way tie , so yeah she earned it .
@@MU-rx1tc That's not true. The Romanians contested two things. First, the wrongful "punishment" for the other Romanian gymnast so called "stepping outside of bounds", which the video clearly shows she didn't, and the second contest was that the USA team did not request a challenge in time. And, the Romanian gymnast that they cheated because she so called "stepped out of bounds" received a higher score for difficulty for the same routine she did on the teams contest. So they cheated her through two things. So the reality is that the Bronze medal should've went to the other Romanian gymnast, not even the one that got it, in reality.
She earned the bronze. My family and I had plans to attend the Olympics in LA in 2028. We have decided not to attend. We will not be supporting IOC or FIG anymore.

No, she didn't. Chiles was 5th place. Ana Bărbosu was on the 3rd place at the end of the event. Sabrina Voinea was ROBBED being falsely accused of stepping out of the carpet. How about we accuse you that your fridge and TV in your home are in fact stolen? How would you like that?
These athletes are not to be blame the judges are ones they should be blamed and were the reason for this and not to judge at another Olympic Games ever again because of this I’ll always love and support Jordan.
Romania also wanted BOTH girls to get the bronze! They didn’t want to take it from Jordan either. Can’t remember which gymnastics entity ruled it out… but they said “There will only be ONE medal given”. (Even tho “ties” have happened before!!)
@@cavlizzy and even though there were cases similar to this with judging scandals that they gave out gold medals to two countries instead of the rightful winner. It’s all bull 💩
This is outrageous. The arbitration blindly accepted Romania's 4 second claim without evidence. It was baseless and made up. One minute to correct a wrong score is ridiculous in the first place. This is not Jordan's fault, but the judges fault. Fire them!
WHAT THE HELL??? It's not her fault that _they_ failed to do _their_ job! That's on _them_ , not her! And by the way, what the hell kinda bullshit is this that, that they were oh-so-willing to "reconsider" giving her bronze LONG after the "arbitriation period", but now their not willing to "reconsider" the outcome??? Didn't they just violate their own "arbitration period" or whatever - to decide to take her bronze from her??? What the hell kind of messed up bullshit is that?!?! So you can just "decide" willy-nilly what you will reconsider or not reconsider, based on what?... Whatever whim you feel like following?? That doesn't even make sense!! How do we get a hold of these people and MAKE them see that they're WRONG??? How do we make them see that blindly following protocol, even when it doesn't make sense, is wrong??? I feel so bad for Jordan, and the other two Romanian athletes who are wrapped up in this bullshit that isn't even their fault! What the hell?!?! If I were a gymnast, this whole mess would make me not want to be one, and be pissed at them for ruining gymnastics for me!
If you watch the actual move in question that resulted in the deduction, her 1.5 rotation looks more like a 1.25 rotation; I think the biggest mistake the judges made was changing the original score; they should’ve just left the .1 deduction intact and avoided this entire mess. Given what this situation has ballooned into, I think the most reasonable thing for the IOC to do is to take into account all available information, including the performances themselves, and make a final determination accordingly.
The mess would have been much smaller then, yes, but not totally avoided because Sabrina Voinea got a 0.1 deduction that cost her bronze for something she didn’t do (stepping out of bonds).
They can give a second medal to the athlete who came in fourth. The IOC has done it in the past - 2002 Winter Olympics Salt Lake City. The Canadian figure skating pair were given a gold medal after it was discovered a judge had been paid off to give the Russian pair a gold medal by giving them a higher score. The IOC fixed this by giving the Canadians a gold as well and banning the judge.
The IOC should have let both athletes have the bronze medal. It was cool with the athletes. It was cool with their countries. The IOC messed up, bigtime! And it's not the first time!
honestly as an athlete i would not feel comfortable accepting a medal that i did not earn. To accept a reallocated a medal because of an administrative mistake and not my own performance...well even that speaks for it self..
That is so wrong how they are f@cking over Jordan. They won't even consider the video evidence that shows her coach submitted the inquiry on time. Something so fishy about all this. I am just worried for Jordan, the way the IOC is mistreating her is beyond justification!
There's nothing fishy. As in every lawsuit, there are rules you as a court/judge and as a part have to follow. These rules also apply to timestamps and appeals. There is a time when you are allowed to present evidence or appeal. If you don't do it in that timeframe, you lose your right, it's only fair. But it seems like the American Gymnastics Federation is a bit late on all their appeals and then they complain about it. As for this new evidence they claim to have, why don't you think THIS is fishy? What so they didn't have this video just a few hours prior, to present it in court? How convenient that they came up with something that can easily be altered. And don't you think there's actually an official timestamp of when the inquiry was filed? I know that the judges who scored their routines seemed incompetent, but not all judges are. They don't need you or me to tell them how to do their job.

Judges screwed up, and the athletes get punished? If the judges did not screw up, Chiles would have gotten bronze. We all know that. Unfortunately the Romanian gymanst will get it while knowing it was not fair. The judges missed rightly earned points. The world knows Chiles won it rightly.
These judges seem to be making it up as they go along! If I were Jordan I would not give the medal back, make them make a new one to give to the other athlete. The judges are incompetent.
I'm pretty sure they know how to do their job better than you, even if it goes against your wishes. There are rules they have to follow, no matter who gets upset.
@@iuliacondrea4754 They should be able to be a gymnastics judge at the Olympics better than me because that’s not my profession. It’s the evidence which is against their rulings not people’s personal preferences.
@@iuliacondrea4754 That only makes sense if the ruling makes sense. If their ruling was just, I'd agree with you. But they shouldn't follow protocols blindly, even when it's wrong. And in this case, they're wrong!
@@mylegacymovie again, if you decide something is evidence, it doesn't mean it is. There were judges who analyzed and questioned each member for hours in order to make a just decision. Maybe you're an American and not used to the judges system, but that does not make it unjust.

A level of hypocrisy here, when she was awarded bronze? Seems like you were fine with judges decision, now that justice was served, judges are no longer good, they were not fair form start but you were fine as long as you took the medal right?. please spare me!.
I sincerely doubt it has anything to do with racism. The judges would be very sensitive to give out that appearance. However - we need THREE bronze medals. Two Romanians (who were tied) and Jordon.
Enough with all the racism nonsense. The Olympics GAVE HER THE BRONZE; this was reversed based upon the findings of an independent sports-governing authority. Biles has been overall dominant in the past 3 Olympics, and has reaped the medals accordingly. Biles has been one of the most respected and popular gymnasts OF ALL TIME. Not to mention there are a wealth of black medalists every Olympics across multiple disciplines, and an all-black podium is not an uncommon sight. Stop thinking that everything is racist just because it happens to someone black-this is a ridiculous mentality.

@ameliabedelia7018 Go to the Wikipedia article "List of ties for Medals at the Olympics." Scroll to the bottom of the list to 2024 Paris. There were ties in the events: 1. Tie for silver in the men's 100 m breaststroke, 2. Tie for bronze in the women's high jump, 3. Tie for bronze in the men's horizontal bar (A GYMNASTIC EVENT), and 4. Tie for bronze in the women's 500 m K-2 canoe. There have also been ties for gold in previous Olympics. The two most recent were: 1. 2020 Tokyo in the men's high jump, and 2. 2016 Rio in the women's 100 m freestyle. All the above examples are 2-way ties, but in 2016 Rio there was a 3-way tie for silver in the men's 100 m butterfly. Michael Phelps was one of the three silver medalists. The list in Wikipedia is quite long. I advise you to take a good look at it.

As it should be, she doesnt deserve the medal. Jordan's execution is poorly done with all thos low chest, multiple steps, flexed feet, crooked splits and robotic dance. Congratulations Romania well deserve
I knew USA appeal it would be rejected, there are certain laws that must be respected, I don't know what the video contained, but if it wasn't important it was rejected...give 3 bronze medals
Jordan Chiles was in the 5th position after the first mark on the floor, after the coach filed an appeal outside the time/rules, which means that his mark was irregularly increased, the court of sports arbitration decided that he did not deserve the bronze medal.. .the referees did an injustice by raising his grade so he annulled their decision ..all the best ..the TAS court rejected the new videos as inconclusive
The appeal was within the time limit and the TAS rejected even viewing the evidence, just as the video said because their rulings are final. Its just funny they are so quick to make a ruling off a the word of one individual but refuse to take into account evidence that might prove them wrong
She earned it fair and square. I don't know about you, but people who work their butts off to earn these things don't let it go, especially when they know its fairly earned
@@greenhornet8262The one who 100% deserves the bronze medal is Sabrina Maneca-Voinea of Romania who was erroneously deducted a tenth of a point for allegedly going out of bounds. She scored 13.700.
