The minute he had to throw the ball in the playoffs(against the niners with the game in the line) he folded like a lawn chair. Love needs the running game to be effective right now.

@@TheJragon14 I would agree partially. I also think he is fringe top 10. However, I disagree that it would be ignorant to think he won’t improve. A young team is wild card last year the Packers had an easy schedule and a lot of young talent. This year they have a lot of young talent but a harder schedule and a new defensive coordinator. I think there are outside factors that could make it hard for JL to improve upon last season. He has a chance to improve but each year brings different challenges we will see if he can adapt.

@@omegaman9145 as I said, context matters. Allen and the Bills made a run at the end of the year, including a win against Dallas. They beat 5 playoff teams. Allen has always cleaned up his play in the playoffs, Dak hasn't. He's also a younger, more productive and dynamic QB than Prescott.

I'm a Lions fan but I agree with you. PERSONALLY I agree with Mike to some extent(Not sure if I'd take him as non Mahomes 1st) but I am super high on him and have been since you guys drafted him but if you are talking rankings right now I don't think it should be based just on how you "feel" they will project down the road but also what they have accomplished, how they are playing, their skillset, their age etc. Love checks many of those boxes but the accomplished part is what makes me put him lower, it's no fault of his own but the fact is it has only been 1 season and there have been many guys who have had great seasons only to not follow up on them. Again personally I don't think that will be the case but until he proves otherwise I think it's fair to have him behind many of these guys that have a larger sample even if Love may have more raw talent and upside.

@@jabarricharles-barnes658 passer rating is essentially the only quantitative stat that really reflects a QBs impact. Takes into account competitions per attempt, TD to INT ratio and overall yards. If we’re going to compare QBs imo that’s the only line to judge

QBR is a far more accurate metric than passer rating. Receiver YAC, drops, or tips to defenders that become interceptions should not affect a QB's passing metric like it does for passer rating. On the other side, strength of defense and rushing efficiency should, which passer rating does not account for. QBR being 0-100 with 50 representing league average also makes it a lot easier to ballpark how efficient a QB is. There's a reason the majority of MVP winners are also the QBR leader

He's 41, and hasn't played well going on 3 years. He's been banged up the last 2 years and more than likely won't last this one coming up either. His whole thing relied on his scrambling ability, which he doesn't have anymore. He's not Brady who NEVER relied on his scrambling because he couldn't get out of his own way even in his prime. And this is coming from a Jets fan. A realistic Jets fan.
