I did. I've been MGTOW for years before I figured out there are many more and living my lifestyle has a name. Still, most men I see going MGTOW have no idea it has a name. And there are MANY!

The last woman I was with returned home from a short trip and said she was leaving me after being together for 7 years. That was 1996, and at the time I just felt it was far too much effort to try to make a woman happy and I was not getting much in return for that effort ( sexless relationship). Thank you for your story ! I read it all. Sorry for your circumstances. I had a situation about love that was similar in emotion to yours. When I love someone I really mean it and I feel it hard. But I got my eyes open when I graduated from highschool and after doing everything for one special girl that was in my heart and we were close friends for 4 years. After all that time even though she flirted with me alot at the end after all those years. She rejected me and went for some really tall guy that she hardly knew anything about. At the same time all those years of fighting with my narcissistic mother after one big fight I stopped loving and realising she controlled me for her own use(mind that I am really physically strong and ahtletic but emotionally naive and vulnerable). I never ever loved anyone anymore and never felt the same way. After those 2 situations happened I stayed reserved for 2 years and from lots of reading and observing I realised its just that women don't love like men do. We MEN love trully when we fall for someone and we would do anything for them. WOMEN cant do that. They firstly are more selfpreserving and selective. They are emotional which means that they change states too quicklly and abruptly that what they think is love, is actually an impulse and thats connected to their greed and their judgement. We fall for their trap because most of them are really beautiful but thats a mask that makes you get caught and eaten alive. I have seen so many of my friends go into depression and almost die from alchohol intoxication due to their girlfriends leaving them for someone better in the SAME WEEK they separated. Japanese also doesn't contain the vast amount of synonyms that English does. There are a vast multitude of ways to form one single expression in English, Japanese contains far fewer. I honestly think that English is a far more difficult language to learn than Japanese, and I don't even consider English one of the hardest languages.

I think he is merely displaying sadness for a young man to have such a pessimistic view of finding love at a young age, yet validating his logic at the same time. At least that's how I saw it. The people (both MGTOWs and non-MGTOWs) focusing on the court systems have no clue what they are talking about, as the courts are a secondary issue and not one of the salient issues.
