@@Dopeamiine He averaged 26 with Curry off the floor, led the league in FT%, and his turnovers were lower than Draymond or Curry. Bad shot taker? Well he averaged superstar efficiency in the 2022 playoffs
@@anonymousl5150 wow he averaged BLAJ BLAH BLAH. He had 1 good year with am average +/- that year but has had a negative +/- before and after that SINGLE FUQING YEAR! How many players pop off in contract year but was sht the years before and then became sht after the contract?
Playing with Curry and Draymond, he was spoiled. Now reality came knocking on the door, for a quick check He went from competing for chips in GSW, to driving alongside the tank commander himself Lt. Kyle Kuzma
@orban6248 kuzma dont give a shxt on winning games. wizards is not that bad. it just that everyone is selfish and not playing a team basketball. wizard is just a team with losing history and losing mindset players with no winning culture
Overconfidence has ruined many careers, gotta stay humble and hungry when you're young so you get better. Melo shows this perfectly, his coaches all agree.
Punching Bag Poole carries the ball, turns the ball over like clockwork & has one of the worst decision making abilities i've ever seen for a professional basketball player --- if you wanna watch a basketball player that will lead to constant Ls for your team, he's one of the best examples out there
You continue to do excellent analysis and your spot on with Poole. He doesn't have a championship team to play on and isn't motivated to try and excel on the team he has. Tyes had 17 assists against the Warriors, Jordan had a mediocre game as usual. No effort
I get some players fizzling out or coming down to earth, but there is way more going on than his shot not falling. I think looking from the outside he might need a therapist.
After that embarrassing draymond slap, JPs daddy speaking out, and getting sent to washington? Absolutely. Hes had a rough time. All his fault. But yeah i agree
Its def mental bc hes shown how good he can be multiple times. That and he just really wasnt ready to be taking over a team. I think the pressure of literally everyone hating you also gets to him.
Finally someone that gets it! Have you seen the videos from Gilbert Arenas about Poole? He has the truth of what really happened and you’re not far from it. Listen to this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T9GAk1Po1_Q.htmlsi=bonDZ01hPmtKX-IE
Serious question : Does anybody know what year the NBA got rid of the palming and carrying rule? I earliest I remember goes back to the Allen Iversion days, but I also remember Jamal Mashburn doing it a lot in college when he played for the Wildcats all the way back in 1990. I remember that it was inconsistent reffing back then, as occasionally they would call it on Mashburn, mostly road games. Yeah, I'm old.
It's 100% mental. He was assaulted, and the warriors didn't have his back AT ALL. Then, after a mid year from him, they chose Draymond again and booted him. The confidence and investment in the game are just shot.
Gsw ripped off wizards bad. Wizards would give poole away in a trade for free if somebody would take his contract. He’s the definition of a negative asset.
As soon as he was traded, I said his career trajectory was over. He shined bc he had a smaller role next to one of the best pgs ever in steph. He really needed another 2-3 years off the bench to learn but the wizards needed someone to lead right now and after the punch situation GS was never gonna be the same
@@paulievespucci6867 your point has absolutely nothing to do with my point😂 they played well together but after the punch the team chemistry was never gonna recover dray would purposely not pass to Poole when he got back
The problem with Poole in Washington is that they have him as a 2 guard when he’s a Pg…since tyus been out Poole been carrying the pg load and has been good
You are among a select group of nba youtubers I subscribe to who are way better than anything ESPN or other media can offer. It almost makes me nauseous to even watch them anymore while I can't wait to watch my select group of youtubers.
Glad you said it, because it's almost 100% money & complacency. We've seen it a lot throughout sports, especially the NFL. Once guys get that first huge contract, it's 50/50 on whether or not they'll care anymore. Poole seemed to think "I've already made it," and with that attitude, you won't go far. In complete contrast, you have people like Kobe who were notorious for their insane drive & commitment to getting better no matter how much they achieved. Poole is at a crossroads this season. Either he's bothered by all the online trolling, memes, & media chatter and it lights a fire under his ass, or he shrugs it off & continues going through the motions, satisfied with his millions. Hope it's the former & not the latter.
Only nephews thought this bum was comparable to Steph. The same type of casuals that thought Bubble TJ Warren was Kobe. It's disgusting to start the video saying that it was consensus
Punching Bag Poole was the Gizzards' no.1 / no.2 scoring option, up until he got benched --- once opposing teams treated him as such, he has come back down to earth... and everyone can now see the actual, overrated player that he truly is
He came up from the G league, he’s still developing. The championship run season with the warriors he was about the third option most nights. Now the scouting report is centered around him. Washington needs more vets to guide him. JP is learning to be a starter on the job by himself. Washington needs a 1-3 vet to help develop JP. He still climbing, now it’s all about growing and developing his mindset. I hope the dude reaches out to MJ or someone for guidance.
Thats what im thinking. He def wasnt ready to be the first option on a team, and its certainly not helping that everybody hates him. He has shown multiple times this season how good he actually is, so i think a lot of his problems are more mental than him being just bad.
I’m a wizards fan because I’m from here and no one has ever happy to be traded to the wizards. So put that with no accountability from teammates in the guy being happy about having a ring and thinking he has a legacy locked up… I think it started as arrogance and now I think he just has no confidence. It’s finally hit him how ridiculous he looks. No supporting cast and he thought he could just phone it in. He was wrong.
I feel bad for him. What makes it worse is having the media always ridiculing you😢. Put your self in his shoes that probley doesn’t feel to good. I get all get told “ he’s a pro that’s part of the deal” still though it’s hard to watch.
Warriors were smart with him. Kept him on a short leash, at least until they had to give him the dumb contract. But they always hid his weaknesses, and put him in good positions on offense. Eventually, he got worst as the season went on last year, especially on defense. Divencenzo played way better that he did. Hell, even the rookie they have this year is playing better than Poole did last year
Agreed! I never thought he'd be THIS bad. I thought there'd be a drop in stats as Curry was the focal point of the opposing team's defense. But even with increased defensive attention on him, this is just comical. Like the Monstars stealing his talent level comical.
He pissed me off big time. Still does. Not even a warriors fan. I think it was just his level of cockiness. But watching this video kind of makes me pull for him. I hope he snaps out of it. Because he is definitely better than what he is showing. Everyone knows that. Its like the Monstars took all his powers from him.
Pool is just a " BROKEN PERSON " & THE INCIDENT, with Draymond, is without a doubt the culprit! Its not hard to see, just look prior to the pre season when they had the fight and after the fight, is when HE really start to do down hill " rapidly" its plan to see & very evident! His whole demeanor and confidence "was SHOT" FROM THAT POINT FORWARD!. Sad situation! Mr. Hop..
He got figured out. When you’re getting into the superstar class teams will study you inside out. And that’s when the real superstar emerged like Steph. Poole is just not good enough to be in that club.
My guess is, the lack of fire. The fire has gone out since he got traded. And maybe he still want to play at GS. As a result, lack of training, women, alcohol, party, etc. If he hasn’t changed the routines, his career will collapse
What happened to Poole? Obvious: his team kicked him out.... to a bad team. Motivation is is a key factor of success in every aspect of life, specially in competitive sports.
It wasn't a consensus. He was overrated by a few. But even in his best days he sucked. His First 2 year stats were comparable with the worst player ever.
Idk, i think its more mental type shi with poole. He has shown many times throughout the season how good he actually is. I can't imagine its easy to play when you're pretty much the face of terrible basketball.
Poole party better be careful Bronny James going into the league and gonna take his place, Bronny may not have the skills yet but works hard albeit harder than Poole
He should've never been paid that much, it's gets to people's heads. Also, he didn't seem to have the mind set of a leader and got traded to a terrible team. I wouldn't be surprised if he is out of the league in 3 years.
You sign a 120+ million dollar contract, and keep your head on your shoulders after winning a NBA Chip at a YOUNG age. Tell me how that goes. He got too much way too quick, and thinks hes the ish.
I always thought he was garbage. Yeah he had a little hot steak, lots of average players do, he was just really loud about it. I could see right through it he doesn’t respect the game
its very clear as day that the draymond green punch ruined his mental health. his love for basketball just isn’t there anymore. it’s crazy because he was probably trash talking draymons, they prob trash talk each other all the time, but draymond being the lunatic that he is, punched poole
That punch got him 40 mil a year for 4 years. So he can afford the best therapy in the world!…. The reason Poole ain’t playing is because he’s no longer hiding behind Steph and Klay.
It's totally believable. Just because something is true today, does not in any way guarantee it will be that way tomorrow. Other than clickbait easy drama content, I don't understand why people pretend this is shocking or abnormal.
I really don't know why people can't accept that Jordan pool was always this bad. He was a G league player for a reason. He was a terrible defender. His shot selection has always been poor, was always heavy turn over prone. His scoring ability gave him upside and a role on the warriors and for a structured team some pool party madness brought some energy. Pool let it get to his head, started to believe his own hype and went to a new franchise and is realizing to win games you gotta defend, rebound, take care of the ball and have good shot selection. He don't have the spacing that other players provided him, he doesn't have the defense that players provided around him, and he doesn't have the play makers to make his life easier. So the regression to the mean was bound to happen. His shot making ability declined be he lost his confidence, he lost his confidence because he was constantly taking dumb shots on top of the fact that he doesn't have a squad that draws the attention away from him. So he will have to learn to get humbled real quick.
