Chapman is a beast, no doubt. As an Astros’ fan, I just knew that he wasn’t going to let the Astros score any runs while he was on the mound. But Altuve has been in beast mode for the last few seasons!! GO ASTROS!!!

@@joecahill1994 from 2016 to 2018 he was a much better hitter on the road than at home, 2019 he was slightly better at home, 2020 was horrible all around, 2021 again better at home but still great on the road lmaoooo
Jose Altuve is such an inspirational player. He was told by his coaches to stop playing the game as he was too bad maybe they thought that he was a way too short to be good at it but now look at this champion hitting walk off homers with total ease. Way to go Champ.
Mark F The Yankees sounded the alarm earlier in the series when they accused the Astros of “whistling” to indicate sign stealing. It’s why the Yankees routinely had Sanchez visit the mound to change the frequencies of their signs any time the Astros bats got going in the series. In my opinion, that allegation and the Yankees precautions during that series is what got the ball rolling and forced MLB to open an investigation.

I do not blame Astro's fans. But for anyone involved, this is just as bad as the steroid era. Ripped off teams of their World Series. The Yankees should have won this year and as a Blue Jays fan, that's the absolutely last thing I want to admit, but it's the truth. Shame on the Astros team.
@Tim Snortin' This is in no way the fans' fault, that's absurd. The fans weren't the ones cheating, or implementing the tools to cheat, they were just rooting for their team, like any fan does. This falls squarely on the manager, the players, and the staff for allowing this to happen.

Look at how he took to 2-0 Slider. Then look at he was dead set on swinging the next pitch. Chapman's face may be telling a different story after all the news that's come out. Like he looks genuinely surprised that he smacked that ball.
Chapman through a HANGING SLIDER. Who wasn't going to hit that? Plus, he could have easily walked Altuve and pitched to Marisnick who was on deck. Marisnick was a .190 hitter. Totally Chapman's choice to pitch to Altuve instead of pitching to Marisnick, which I think was stupid. I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw him pitchubg to Altuve. Chapman was all over the map. He had just finished walking Springer with 4 STRAIGHT balls.

Everyone knew what was coming. He couldn't throw his fastball for a strike. He walked the batter before Altuve trying to throw fastballs. Side note: He had the exact same bewildered look on his face in game 7 of the world series with the Cubs when Rajai Davis took him deep to tie the game. Watch the video. Same dumb half smile. Lol!!!
One of my favorite parts of this is Springer running around the bases with his arms up and that gigantic smile on his face. Looks like a little kid. Love the way the Astros play baseball, they seem to have so much fun with it
Here to see jose altuve jump all over a hanging slider from Chapman. Is this really the moment so many people have been saying altuve cheated? To see the mediocrity of the pitch and to see altuve ambush it as he has so many times in his career. It is so hard to imagine people can seriously be hurt by him genuinely rocking a long home run in the postseason, where it matters most. Man I'm sooo proud of this team and so proud to be a Houstonian man...my granny (may she rest in peace) worked at the Astrodome in the early 80s up to the 90s we had free tickets and she loved Nolan Ryan...and as I grew up being around the 8th wonder up to now this franchise has came along way there's alot of history heart ache and disappointments but alot of winning as well even way before these last couple of years... but all I have to say is let the saga continue let's take it back!!! Go stros!
Rodney Lewis spot on! My grandpa also was a long suffering Astros fan and we used to go to the empty Astrodome when the Astros were terrible and then the closest he got to see a winner was the one season Randy Johnson was in Houston. I only wished those folks could see this.

He couldn't locate his fastball. Both were outside. He got the strike on the first curve ball. It's chess. Altuve guessed right and dug into it. His 1st 2 he missed with were 99mph. Win some u lose some. Most batters punish that hanger. Altuve did!
