@@irod3932 Coming out of the amateurs Jose Jr. was formidable. His dad had him and his brother sparring guys much older, much bigger, much better; which, clearly, yields championship-level results. It's the easiest thing in the world to hate on Jose Jr. right now; but his accomplishments in the amateurs, his record as a pro, as his skillset are inarguable and worthy of respect.
In boxing there is no excuses point blank remember what y'all told Wilder you lost period and what fool would get back in the ring if he is not ready so he just fought Danny they both did well but Jose fought better against bud stop the crying

People have to understand while Porter is not the most skillful guy, he really mastered his style mid 2010s, he improved so much after this , while Benavidez never really made the strides necessary to stay at a world class level.

@@Sghoudini8934 bud got grazed in the head, jose got shot right in the left knee the same knee you need to transfer your weight to too throw a hard jab or a hard right hand, all his shots are arm punches now, so its a lot different, the doctors said jose would never box again thats how bad his knee is and he still tries so I give him credit, not saying he would have beaten crawford with 2 good knees he still loses in my opinion, but this was a life changing injury for his career.

A few things one sparring is just that, sparring. Both of them were most likely working on something in particular. You can also clearly see they are not going 100% max. That's not even 75%. They are working on something. One of them obviously had a fight they were preparing for. The next thing is my fighter was shot in the leg also. They tried to kill him but he got away getting hit in the leg. It took about 7-8 months then he fought again and won. We went through rehab, strength and conditioning and it wasn't ever an issue. Not sure where he got hit at in his leg or the caliber used but his performance recently has nothing to do with his leg. Maybe when he fought Crawford but not now.
@@ecw787 yeah i believe the shop is owned by he and his dad. I heard from his female cousin that he got lazy. I also heard others saying that he never really liked boxing but was natural to it. Then i heard he was into ganglife and parties. That oscar de la hora bailed him out twice. Who knows bro. but mechanic is what he does now.
Bro you're crazy Porter was outmatched here, Porter didn't really master his style and started packing a bigger punch probably mid 2010s. He had a close bout with Julio Diaz, a couple years after this video was shot, which he looked pretty green still, but he made big improvements after that fight.

@@NijahovaWorld Benavidez fd his own career up due to discipline and being in the streets. Losses to Garcia and Crawford on a bum leg don't change the fact at one point he was a beast, and he was only 20 yrs old at that.

It's obvious Jose is trying his hardest, and Shawn is just sparring. And no disrespect to Porter but people land on him sometimes....it's his style. To brawl and exchange. The difference, is 95% of the time he's the last man standing. In a real fight, Porter breaks him down and wins on points most likely.
He kinda looks like in Garcia fight even being the bigger fighter. If this was supposed to be him dominating porter it's not. Also as big as he is compared to porter and he keep coming forcing action just shows the heart of Porter and why after the Crawford fight was a good time to hang it up. His style and wars was catching up. But this is just work nothing special
People are so stupid, half seed, measured, working on a few things, and either could of put in road work the morning of, etc, etc. Purpose of sparring on a given day is to work on something or just log rounds, not win a fight...
Jose has good little steps here that's what he needs to throw combinations at a moving target. He don't have thay anymore because of nerve damage from bullet
