Jose Feliciano - The Thrill is Gone 

He can "eat" any Clapton, Knopfler or Van Morrison and Stevie Wonder in any style for over 50 years ... but no one in the music criticism of newspapers and the music industry ever recognizes his true worth. A career canceled by these people who never understood it.

Jose Feliciano, one of the most talented musicians of the last 60 years. He was doing English-Spanish crossover before anyone came up with the term. Extremely underrated because of his versatility over the last 20 years. Very proud to call him a compatriota.

He's Flamenco, he's Blues, he's pop, he's just Jose. He's a legend.

If the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame can open its doors to a country rooted singer they should be able to recognize the talent and contribution of a Latino soul guitar genius.

He doesn’t play music he IS music.

Imagine being a a sax player and having Jose Feliciano telling you, don’t stop playing “do it one more time”.

Please you supposedly important people out there give this man his place in the PANTHEON OF THE GREATEST GUITARISTS AND SINGERS IN THIS FFN WORLD!!!!

Before I even heard of Carlos Santana I was listening to this guy. He still flies under the radar when great musicians are mentioned.

Mr Feliciano went way past the stratosphere!! But he certainly knew how to choose his band mates as well. They were absolutely incredible as well!!

Back in March 2006 I had the pleasure of being on stage with B.B. King, Jose Feliciano and Patti LaBelle doing "The Thrill is Gone" and a couple other songs at the Cipriani Ballroom in New York City. Don't know why that video has never been posted as it was a major production. It was a blast and the crowd went crazy as they traded off verses and guitar leads.

Jose puts his own special stamp on everything he plays. Been loving his music since the 1960s.
