This "tradition" (with Calabro inserting himself and "interviewing" the driver all the way around the track, asking the same questions over and over) is only about 10 years old, not decades....

Dave Calabro has to insert himself into everything at Indy in May. The Pace Car ride he takes with the winner is particularly ridiculous and embarrassing, I mean, could anyone imagine Sid Collins, or even Wrong Page or Bob Jenkins getting in that car and STEALING the driver's moment like Calabro does? It's not your show, Dave! You're a darned PA announcer my man! Get out of the car and let the fans celebrate the winner without your inane commentary and stupid questions you ask over and over all the way around the track. This has got to be the WORST new "tradition" at The Track I have seen in my 50 years of going there. Enough Calabro already, get out of the way and stop trying to make you the story, Dave!

The people who run this channel do spoil results since years and I criticized them for it in the comments probably a hundred times but they just don't care at all. Not the only issue with this channel, the team finally needs a total overhaul.
