Download this video at skitguys.com/vi... Watch as The Skit Guys tell the story of Joseph and his multi-colored coat, and how he was used by God to demonstrate His mercy and forgiveness.
i've heard this Bible story hundreds upon hundreds of times, but this is such a fresh way of presenting the same story...it's funny and it gets the message across...especially the emotional brother part..."i wish Oprah were here!"
hey guys I'm a teen and u guys open my eyes on a lot of things. so just wanted to say thank u so much. my dad's a pastor but he's busy like all the time and there's just things that I want to talk to him about but can't cause of that so I was on RU-vid and came upon us guys and I'm glad I did thanks..
Oh my gosh! This is too funny! My MOST FAVORITE Christian musical of all time is Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (with Donnie Osmond as Joseph). I know that musical inside and out. LOL Everytime we go over the story, lesson in Sunday School (Bible Study, lifegroup, etc) I breakout in song from the musical. LOL
Since discovering y'all on RU-vid yesterday, I've been challenged (God's Chisel) and have laughed!!! I've been needing a good laugh for days!!! Who knew the story of Joseph could be told in 6 min? LOL
Tom-We don’t much about Joseph before he married Mary he was a carpenter Eddie-Tom not that Joseph The other Joseph the Old Testament! Tom-There’s another Testament? Lol!
I love this adaptation more than that Joseph movie made by Dreamworks. Because the skit guys made Joseph a jerk to his brothers more because he really was. Although, the brothers did made an even jerkier move.
Entertaining but so important to actually read your bible as well for the skinny on what actually happened. Joseph wasn't as arrogant as Tommy makes him out to be. And God favoured him because of that with dreams. Then his reason for not sleeping with his boss's wife wasn't cause she was unattractive, it was because he loved God more. Funny skit guys, but use it as an encouragement to read your Bible
How Joseph keep his mouth shut when he saw is brother and play it cool and when saw them and he was number 2 in common and his Joseph forgave him God had something else planned for him and he trusted in God and God keep him safe
=)))"'joseph, you're beautiful , you're beautiful it's true, i saw you're face in a crowded place and i don't know what to do... " =)))))))))))))))) it's either me or jail , baby ... --i choose jail =))) i don't know how it comes to them =)) emotional roller coaster, i wish oprah was here.... =)))) the truth of everything is it's not our time, it's God time...it's not our story, it's God's story....
Its not always about us, and what we have plan and what we are going to do, it doesn't matter what time and we set up because the truth of everything is, its not our time its always God's time and it's not your story, its God story. I will remember that!! :D
Seriously people, read your bibles! There are some good stories in there! It's not the big, scary, daunting book that most people make it out to be. If you have one that's hard to read or you don't have a lot of background in the church, get an NLT, New Living Translation, it's an easy read that's still true to God's Word. And spend some time in the Old Testament, there are a lot of pearls in there!
And the moral of the story is... "Go out, kill, destroy those that have wronged you, destroy them [rant, gibber, drool]..." Err... no - LOL ;-) With luck, the extremists amongst us (on all sides) can draw from this parable :-D Good Job :-D
