As a Chiefs fan, I pray this man forgives himself and can move forward. BJ Hill is a real one for standing for his teammate even while hurting himself. 🙏

I'm a cheifs fan, and I felt bad for him. I can't even fathom how he feels. Thank God he has a team and teammates who are looking out for him. I hope the city doesn't come down on him too hard. He made a mistake. That's why they put erasers on pencils. We all make mistakes.

I’ve been a die hard chiefs fan since a kid. Around 40 years. I’m damn sure not going to say I wish it didn’t happen but I feel bad as hell for that young man. Wish we could have won without that penalty. I’m glad to see his teammates protecting him and doing the best they can to make him feel like it wasn’t his fault. He seems like a good kid and it does suck he has to go through this.

I'm a Chiefs fan and I'm happy they won. Joseph just forgot where he was and was focused on making the play. I'm positive he was full of adrenaline and just wanted to stop Mahomies. Anyone who is stupid enough to blame him for the loss is a tool. Major props to Hill for having his back and supporting & defending him against idiot reporters. You guys will be back in the playoffs next year. Hopefully they'll be a rematch. Most exciting game I've seen all year.

As a broncos fan, Raheem Moore still lives in infamy around here. I hope he can redeem himself because Ossai is a great player in the making he was all over the field and a big reason the Bengals even got to where they were~

I feel so bad for him he just made a mistake. Teammates don't do that it's obvious he feels awful you don't make them feel worse then how he already feels just uncalled for you can tell he feels horrible.

He was a big player throughout the game and had one mishap and people want to drill him into the ground. He played his heart out and it showed he was hard on himself for that already. Hate to see the Bengals lose the way they did.

This happens in all types of sports. I remember back in the days when 49ers played Giants and Roger Craig fumbled and I was so mad at him even though he was my favorite player at the time. Then I became competitive tennis player myself and had my moments of being hero to zero and realize it's all part of the process. So hang in there Joseph Ossai, you still a great player.

legit felt so bad for him even watching. i felt like it was a cheap shot, but as time went on it became clearer that it was a horrible mistake and that if he could take it back, he would in a heartbeat.

I'm a Bengals fan and it was upsetting in the moment but I know how good Joseph is and the team bonding and chemistry on this team is what makes us so good. Everything about the Bengals from the fans to the players and the coaches is all uplifting and positive. Everyone associated with this team is so close and when you have a team that builds off of each other that's what makes a team able to compete for championships and Superbowls. Should have known better, but one play is never "it". This was a close game with lots of mistakes throughout on both sides. His just was the highlighter.

In a game of inches three yards is everything. Especially on the sideline. 3 yards turned into 15, then that turned into 3 points.

This penalty is to protect players from being injuried . Obviously , Mahomes was already heading to the sideline the extra shove was unnescssary . The sidelines are loaded with solid objects that could result in serious injuries upon impact .

that game was decided before the play off ever started, the NFL wanted the the hype of brother versus brother, coach versus former team, and first ever 2 black quarterbacks. the NFL is as fixed as the WWE.

What he did was wrong, but it takes a man to own up to what he did on camera and I have a lot of respect for him for that. Given the magnitude of what this game meant, I completely understand the emotion that he had afterwards. Not an easy thing to deal with, but much respect for him owning up to it. And much respect for his teammate for the emotional support 👏

I know the feeling. I was the punter for my high school football team and with time running out, I shanked a punt, giving the opposing team a chance to kick a short winning field goal. I felt terrible. Luckily, their field goal kicker missed a 25 yard field goal.
