I love how both Woll and Samsonov perform the best when it's "Here I come to save the day!". when whoever is in net is smelling a little bad. Best to stick with Woll for now, because he's "in a zone" of perfection right now!! And Samsonov is ready, on the sidelines to "Here I come to save the day!" should Woll ever falter... Neither of these goaltenders can consistently perform like a Bernie Parent, Dominic Hasek, Carey Price, Patrick Roy, or Martin Brodeur... but together, they can make this happen!!

@@stillkickinbandgeorgianbay900I agree about Samy but Woll really only struggled when he came back frm that high ankle sprain in late Febuary & missed 3months b4 that. Its honestly a pretty tricky injury to recover frm especially as a goalie. Marner too, a high ankle sprain is tough to come back frm & play his game with elite edges + Woll is still a rookie too but I have alotta faith in him going forward into the future

For real it's amazing it's a tied series. And the core 4 haven't played a game where they're altogether yet. I imagine Saturday Matthew's is back and maybe even Mcmann. It'd be amazing if the breakout game happened for game 7!

Idk about the start. Woll wasn't exactly hot coming into the playoffs and Sammy had a good stretch after the all star break. I felt they should've made the switch after game 3, tho.

@@BruceWayne-ee6vb samsonov was horrible the last few regular season games and woll has a overall better stats this season and career stats as well

@mikechan2942 Yes, while that is true. Samsonov picked up the slack after Woll got hurt. Those last couple games in the regular season don't negate all the good play he had. Woll wasn't great coming off his injury, and he got lit up by Boston the 2 games he started against them. It was the right call to have samsonov start the series, but they should've gone to woll earlier than they did.

Boston has a real problem now, Swayman 2 loses in a row. Series tied now. Ullmark is pissed off they went with Swayman breaking the rotation they had all year. Whomever plays goal will be under massive pressure.
