The first step to getting through an addiction is to admit and realize that you have it and you are willing to put a stop to it. A lot of guys don't like admitting that it's an addiction or if it's even affecting their relationship.

Definitely struggled with the addiction as well. I have admitted it to one person, but I cannot tell my parents or anyone else because of how embarrassed and ashamed I am. I hate that I let myself get so deep into an addiction that it was what I ran to instead of God.

I have walked away from the Lord for a while now and women def struggle with this addiction, I have been struggling for a bit now. But thank you for posting this, it honestly showed me that there is hope. I have been feeling like God hates me now but you showed me otherwise, thank you Josh and Sav for your vulnerability.

Such a timely subject to discuss in our era with the world weighing on this generation of young people. So many young people deal with this and are ashamed to admit it. The downside in this is that it only heightens the level of difficulty it takes to overcome. I wish it weren’t viewed as a “taboo” topic in the Christian community. There’s no way to reach or help others with this if we never acknowledge it as a problem that needs resolving. There is always a time and a place when we take the time to create it. And topics like this can be discussed in a manner that isn’t intended to shame but to help others through it. I believe God intends for us to serve as aid to one another in times of need. I love that you guys have always been so open with your faith & have created a safe space like this to discuss things like lust and pornography. It’s something many of us struggle with or have in the past. It’s also something many don’t realize that women struggle with too…Praying that all chains of addictions would be broken for those in battle (addiction of any kind). ❤❤

It’s 50/50 it’s not just men who struggle with it I’m a female I been struggling with it since I was 12 and I overcame my addiction choosing Jesus over my addiction at 18 so it’s 50/50

Be thankful for 7.30am wake ups…our 4th and last child woke at 5am every single morning!! This continued until he was about 3 years old. He wasn’t a snuggler, so wouldn’t jump into bed with us and snuggle back to sleep. Worst was that I left for work at 7.30am so was defo a killer to be up so much earlier than I needed to be. X

I feel like everyone goes through something in which the devil slips into our brains. Weather it is anxiety or body image issues. I had maladaptive dreaming. I’d wake up and stay in bed and dream while awake. I’d dream when I could, while listening to music and exercising. Eventually I started only dreaming while in the shower. I prayed for it to be taken from me. I know God took it from me. I know I can never Go back to it. It’s been 4yrs now. I know God Took it because I felt it when it happened. I just knew God did it and I knew I could not ever go back to it. I have had a thought of dreaming but I say No to it And I don’t go back to it. Also another thing that helped me is I stopped listening to music and watching movies. I also felt convicted by God to not watch movies. I only watch faith based movies. God Bless you all

I love you all's outlook on the way you think people should share with one another prior to marriage. I agree with you. And not everybody would and it would take a lot of self inventory and self-reflection to be able to admit things like that to someone you want to marry. And I just feel like it brings a foundation for a very strong relationship. Kudos to you guys. I hope one day to find the type of relationship that you guys have, because when it comes to honesty and transparency most people don't bring baggage out of the closet. They carry all that stuff into the relationship with them and continue to do things behind closed doors. It just brings another stepping-stone for trust and unity in my opinion❤

I've not only been here since day 1 but I also had the pleasure of watching a long journey of two beautiful people growing together, now living their dreams❤ However you may see it, Doing anything on your phone or computer is completely a thought-out choice. It's gross to see people stand beside someone because of their "history". Addiction is an excuse for someones actions to trick their loved ones into staying with them out of fear that they'll loose you, to straight up hide the reality that they're unfaithful and don't really WANT to give it up.

Love this vlog. Honestly, I feel is a man thing in watching porn female actually gets engaged from one who is in it deeply. It's just a vice that one's gets hooked on once you gets started. My then husband he was hooked on this and it's uses to irritated me a lot because he as no cause to be looking at this, this is worse addiction what came from the pit of hell........ as young people I admire you both with the topics you comes up with to encourage young adults

It's an incredibly fast growing problem and really traps so many people even from believing that Jesus can redeem them. I struggled with masterbation and have been redeemed and freed by Jesus Christ, I have female and male friends who struggled with pornography and have been freed and redeemed by Jesus Christ.
