This is a beautiful song coupled with a fantastic voice and nothing can top that yeah? He's got such an awesome and amazing voice, so powerful that it touches right to the very core of one's soul. Beautiful lyrics too. To me personally, Josh Groban's a true singer with quality talent and songs from him can make you sit down and tear up. Amazing!
Oh, what a really sweet photo at :54 where he's just looking very reflective. I don't drool over these photos and videos, but since I have only been to one of his shows (in 2004) and he wasn't yet doing such humorous things or receiving strange or funny gifts, I didn't really get to see his quirky personality. So for that reason I am happy to see some of these photos for the personality that is shared in them.
The night before my fiance was to ship out for Iraq 2 years ago, I stayed awake all night to memorize him. My sweet Christopher never came back from Iraq but died serving his country. I still have my wedding gown hanging in my closet and I miss him so,......he was the love of my life. I am so blessed to have stayed awake to memorize him. There will never be another Christopher and I was blessed to have him for the all too short time that he was mine. I loved you then and now my Christopher :(

When I first heard him sing, I thought that his voice was so "mature" for him. It doesn't sound like him. If you understand what I'm trying to say. But this is so beautifull. I love this song!

He sings this so much better live, I don't like how they tweaked his voice for this "studio" recording. I wish he would re-record this because Josh Groban's voice doesn't need fixing so much and this one really ruined some powerful moments with it. Check out his live singing of this, it's way better.
Hello, I cant seem to find a way to ask this question of anyone. I have purchased every album I know of, but this song "Awake" is not on any of them. Even my album, "AWAKE" does not contain this. Why?????? BTW, I hope you have a safe trip and enjoy what you do every day. Im a mother of eight now but used to perform vocally all the time. Your music is helping educate my teenagers to the wonders of well performed vocal music. Thanks
I know you asked this a long time ago, but I think it was only ever put as a B side, according to Josh himself, on one of his DVDs. He said it's one of his favourites and should have been an A side :-( I love it!
