Thank you for the nice comment, really appreciate it. And you are right that life is short...It's always good to get that reminder! Hope you have a great winter. - Madsen
Awe-inspiring American Success Story. Congrats Josh and thanks for keeping the turns alive. (I too learned from a copy of Steve Barnett's book that I found in the school library)
Thanks for the kind words Jason and for taking the time to write that. It means a lot to me. Stoked you are another Barnett guy too! Every once in awhile I'll throw my hands up high to mimic that turn on the cover -- classic. - Madsen
Been on a snowboard since '91. Got bored with it a number of years ago. Been wanting to get on Tele skis for like 5 years and just bought a used rig this past week. Can't wait to get out and fall and learn a new sport
@@FreeheelLife thanks man. I was on the lift a few years ago with one of the ski instructors at A Basin and I was asking him about Tele. He said he always found that snowboarders tend to pick it up quicker than Alpine skiers due to the body mechanics and how you use your body weight and drive with the front leg. His words. I don't know yet lol getting out soon though. Thanks for the reply. I'll report back.
Great story & life reward Josh. I also solo started in Kamas / Park City in 86 at ~ 2 Also dished & pounded nails there. Hey man get back to me about those Meijos; also glad you have Dostie on your side.
That is awesome! Love hearing from fellow dishwashers! And I'm glad Dostie is part of the crew -- we love that dude. Tell me again what you need help on Meidjos too! Got a little behind on some of the comments - is it in there? - Madsen
Yeah that would definitely be the last piece but a tricky one. Good thing is that me and TeleTay have been working with them the past few years on things, so I think it's safe to say that Scarpa is still in the mix. Cheers - Madsen
