Michigan's defense is going to be crazy good, maybe better than last year's top ranked defense. Their only real question mark is QB. With even just solid QB play, there's no reason to think this season won't be a continuation of what we've seen the past 3 This team is easily better than the 2021 team that thumped ohio with stroud. Ohio State defense is a bit better overall, anyone would take Will Howard over Alex Orji (he is top 5 in odds to win the heisman for a reason), and OSU still has better weapons on offense. I don't think UM takes a huge step back but the spread of 9.5 points in favor of OSU makes sense
In terms of power ratings how will Michigan be any better than Iowa this year? Seriously. No receivers, no OL, a wildcat QB. Look what happened to Iowa any time they played a real team last year.
