Love my brothers, I am indigenous to Aoetearoa(New Zealand) of the Tangata Maori. We were colonized through the 1700's and 1800's by British Colonials. Today is a different day and I am blessed to be with you brothers of Afrika we fight colonial systems everyday but not through war through reclaiming our history, identity, and individuality as Tangata Maori(People of the land) rightfully take our place as Kaitiaki(Caretakers) of our country. Indigenous space are growing everyday and we are one today, thank you brothers. One love🖤

Im one guy who respects old people n don't HV disrespect for anyone young or big ...but the world view shared here is narrowed...big time.. if u were once a Pastor or bishop n UV spoken to many souls regarding that world view n now UV recanted...it's ok if u left them behind....but does your wife accepts this inconsistencies....!? If u speak to the likes of sbu n that guy about world viewss especially biblical ones u r likely not to get any balance s cz they never read it ...im saying this but cz of the poor comment about giving the left cheek...that is not about if white people abused u let HV the other cheek ... Firstly God is universal n he ordained judgement in everything...if a group of European elites decided to conquer n take over ...it's not every white men's problem.... Africans were enslaving each other before whites came , it's a matter of evilness on earth ....in every people....umfecane eg ... Not to say two wrongs makes it better....but not all white people r savages ...blacks too ...my brother was killed by black people....I can't hate whites for it ...it still happens .... Europe was wiped by Napoleon n the magna Carta was signed by king of England relinquishing his throne to the same very people that came here n discovered us as if we were not around before them coming....all m saying is , let's not Eurocentralised or afrocentralised the Bible..if u hate a book that say s don't kill , don't still , don't commit adultery, what type of a person r u ...cz now u r chilled out there talking about about decolonization...yes but that's including...the Condoms we use , the ARVs we take , the poisonous energy drinks we drink ...let's start there before

I grew up in a Zimbabwe with shops which had 99% goods which were locally made, when the economy collapsed 99% of the goods came from South Africa, multi national companies moved production to South Africa, production facilities turned into warehouses. The beneficiaries of the collapse don't want Zimbabwe to be stable again

I feel like your history is miss guided 99% of your so called local made ,where made by the foreigners who came illegally to your country and exploit it to their benefit ,and they publish it as basket if Africa ,while the natives suffered in the infertile lands like Gwaii and others, when Mugabe gvt took over the system and try to equalize it ,they call him a dictator and they feel uncomfortable ,then they move to SA ,Zambia and other countries one is benefiting out of this collapsed system although its on its verge to stand up again with true independence

Thank you Hustlers corner. Maponga is poweful. Young Africans need such knowledge and encouragement. It will boost their identity. If their identity is shaky they will imitate ... waste their energy on uselessness. They will find it easy to identify with their parents, their forefathers, with God... Every African father should teach his family what Maponga is stressing. God's, prophets' and Yeshua's teachings should be common discussions in African families. That the Bible is African history needs Africans to bravely trace their roots - not be afraid. Maponga is taking the lead and many need to follow. No one will do it for us...

Many years ago in Eswatini they made english to be the passing subject. As a result we lost a lot of bright minds who were brilliant in maths and science but poor in english. They were failed and cast outside as dunderheads or izidomu. I know this because I was in class with students who were some of the best minds in Swaziland. I felt sad to see them being cast outside as failures. This passing subject system alone cost Eswatini generations of intellectual capital that will never be recovered. Russia has some of the best scientists in the world who don't speak a single word of english. So does france, china, and many other nations. Even the leaders of these nations only address the UNGA in their indigenous languages. Except Africans who do their best to address the UNGA in the colonial master's language. VUKA AFRIKA!!!!!

I agree 100%. As a teacher myself i feel we need to completely change each subject's curriculum to better suit n lead the path to finding relevant/current national problems. I understand the need for food and nutrition in schools, but where is the scope/ topic about food security or the importance of proper nutrition in the family? Its more like for 1 to pass they need not to understand but regurgitate answers from previous question papers.

In 1923 a referendum was actually held in Rhodesia to decide if they wanted to join South Africa as a nation Listening to Maponga break it down as how we are related and our historical connections especially totems, clans and names was just beautiful. I'm Shona in Zimbabwe but my mom is ndebele and looking at her she looks exactly like the women I see when I am in Gauteng. She is Ntabaziduna in Bulawayo and the people there are Xhosa and Ndebele. @RSVPrr
@RSVPrr 2 года назад
@@CarlosSilva-gg6yt it works the same way as Zimbabweans receiving free public health care, and education subsidies, jobs, housing etc in South Africa purely because the ANC allows and sponsors it. It is a fact that Zimbabweans benefit from SA "democracy". If SA took land the two countries would be in the same battle against NATO, so basically SA made a sacrifice for SADC. Now Zim must also sacrifice for SA citizens. In fact SADC countries must support poor South Africans like SA is supporting them. Throughout the 1960s African leaders like Dr Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba and Nyerere have been trying to educate and reunite Africans, colonial forces overcame all these efforts, but with discourses like these I can feel the winds of change blowing in the Africa direction.

I love your definition of spirituality; being one with nature! When I am asked to pray I start by acknowledging the Four Elements and all that’s natural and beneficial to our survival; Christians find it disrespectful cos I am not thanking their Jesus for the Sun, but thanking the Sun itself for light and life! The way our people ingest spirituality is setting us back in a lot of ways, surely we are stepping into the truth! Guys thank you for the talk.

I enjoyed watching your podcast and some of brilliant ideas that came out of this show ,For example turning Beitbridge into a medical hub and industrial hub as that would make it possible for the people to seek medical health in Zimbabwe and within the borders of Zimbabwe as most people crossing into South Africa are coming from areas close to the borders India is known to be a destination where people travel for the purposes of treatment and other's call this medical tourism and Beitbridge is very strategic as South African companies and Zimbabwean companies could invest and create jobs and both countries' economies grow because of proximity of the Beitbridge town to South Africa and medical equipment and suppliers could benefit from such opportunities ,Beitbridge coud be turned into an economic processing zone and for example minerals that are being mined in Zimbabwe are processed in South Africa and think of the growth if there could be smelters in Zimbabwe ,beneficiation and value addition with Beitbridge being there as a transit zone to Durban taking finished products overseas and growing the economies of Zimbabwe and South Africa and the region (SOUTHERN AFRICA) and I do agree culture is important so is spirituality to any country by destroying the moral fibre of a society you destroy conscience within the people of that society and corruption and all other vices grows within the society and destroys such a society hence the first thing colonialists destroyed was culture or attempted destroying and in countries that still have their cultures for example India still has its culture and check the growth of their economy ,they still wear Sari ,do business in their languages using own writing systems same with Japan, China and Russia compare that to countries whose culture was destroyed and on medical insurance if the countries in the region invest in smelters and processes minerals in their own countries that would mean less trucks into South Africa with raw ore but processed minerals and grow the economies of those countries ,create jobs and taxes paid could build hospitals and in so doing stopping people to seek medical treatments in South Africa by industrializing those countries and eventually once all countries have developed at same level it would be easy to integrate and Southern Africa could become one country perhaps with a GDP of USD 1.5m to 2 Trillion because there is minerals to back the economies and currencies of those countries and lastly do not hesitate to go to Zimbabwe because Zimbabwe is not a poor country the media daily speaks of Zimbabwe in the negative and scandalising it but when you fly to Zimbabwe daily there is a lot of whites from South Africa flying to Zimbabwe for business opportunities ,one secret is where ever they say there is a crisis there is opportunities to make money and do business and the black South Africans who are open minded like you guys will definitely make it in Zimbabwe. Try check the other side of Zimbabwe that they do not show on Televisions and think if there was no challenges like ones being experienced where would Zimbabwe be by now since 1999 when all these challenges started ,at one time the second largest economy after South Africa, the second most industrialized ,second biggest stock exchange in Africa after JSE ,once had best education systems there is potential Zimbabwe is just a sleeping giant when it rises it will be like a Phoenix and those seizing opportunities now will be very far ahead in the midst of politics and what is called crisis ,African people cannot sanction themselves hence African people talk differences since time immemorial and political differences and nationalities must not stop African people from doing business amongst themselves imagine how many jobs will be created in South Africa if Zimbabwe gets back to where it was and how many South Africans would invest in Zimbabwe it is to the best interests of South Africa, Zimbabwe and Africa especially with continental free trade area and regional integration if Zimbabwe works and gets back to its position as a leader in mining, agriculture ,tourism and human resources among others.

The opening was beautiful! The native language sounds really nice. The wisdom of Joshua Maponga!!! It takes 1 generation...profound. His explanation on the community approach to solution finding is spot on. For me, one of the things which makes Africa mysterious is the exact thing he explained lol...the unexplainable understanding of the "science" 😂😂 You're right Penuel but I'd like to think that there IS an African rebirth of the mind...we may be in the middle of it and edging closer to it being the norm, where Africa is seen globally, as a place of milk and honey as well. great piece guys! MYLES MUNROE!!! #knowledgeincreased #greatconversations

I may not agree with a lot with what Penuel or Mr Maponga. But I appreciate their presentation of knowledge and challenging the public to wreslte with ideas that they usually don't care to think through. Waking us up! While I agree with his assessment of democracy, I believe people/lobby should have the right to choose who gets ultimate power. And I would have no problem with dictatorships if African leaders where competent or CARED about their people.
